A New York judge found Donald Trump and his family business fraudulently inflated the value of his properties and other assets, in a major defeat for the former U.S. president that could severely hamper his ability to do business in the state.
These things always make me think of what Grassley said on voting to convict Bill Clinton. Paraphrasing a short version, "he lacked moral character". Grassley joins a multitude of congressmen and senators that have to really be proud of themselves.
100 bucks says Grassley acts like this never happened, and if he gets asked about it he'll say he doesn't know enough to comment.

IDK, don't you think winning the presidency only delayed Trump cratering? Sure, it brought attention, but he was in massive financial trouble. Being elected president allowed him to find lots of folks who would loan him money. Doral and the Scottish courses are money pits. He'd have lost them by now if he hadn't been elected president.

Trump was in serious trouble indeed. His candidacy was launched with the intent of enhancing his brand - and, of course, fund raising, merchandizing, etc. Bank financing had dried up. He needed cash and new revenue ventures after the election that he never expected to win.
Act II: His 2024 candidacy is nothing more than a platform to rally MAGA nation against his criminal jeopardy.
So where do the giant gaudy gold letters go? When you see a trump branded building you can feel the slime and lack of class coming off of the brand. The hotel in DC is cheapened by the out of place branding. The man has no taste, just an idea of what people thought wealth was in the 80’s. These are otherwise beautiful buildings and if it just said trump it would be no big deal, it’s just the show of it all that is ugly.
Nothing to dodge, went to SLU, graduated and have a very cushy high paying job that gives me 15 days off a month and all the travel i want because of it.
