Not really. Nobody does anyone a $175 million favor. Whatever Trump used to back this bond, he now cannot access or borrow against. Friendly or not, Hankey now has dibs on a large chunk of Trump's assets.
That, or this guy will be expecting some pretty favorable tax cut legislation should Turd win in November.

Btw, the original due date to post bond was March 25. But Trump still gets to post the discounted rate by April 15. It's sickening how coddled Donald is. None of us would get a 3 week grace period. They would simply start seizing assets.
Meh. This will be another pathway for Trump to delay things by now saying he's being illegally targeted, and this is punitory. He'll appeal, and he'll get a hearing, and the can gets kicked down the road a few weeks/months.
