Agree completely. He did as good as you can against arguably the best player in the world.
Tyler's path to becoming an NBA starter last night was not an easy one. Yet he persevered and never gave up.

i don’t watch a ton of nba, so was pleasantly surprised to be sitting at a bar last night and happen to catch this game. Was awesome to see him out there and as involved as he was. Keep plugging Tyler!! Great Hawkeye, btw.

Where was this in college? My god he barely tried.
I wouldn't say that. The theme of him "not trying" is overblown. I always got the feeling watching games that Cook was trying. He wasn't all that well schooled or drilled on how to play defense. I would say it's more of a matter of we have a coach who doesn't demand that type of defensive effort to get on the floor.
I agree mostly but explain Adam Woodbury then. It boils down to personal commitment at some point.

Luka had 20 points and 10 rebounds (plus 4 assists) in a loss against Philadelphia a night ago.
If he has eligibility he should come back and play for Iowa so we can win a national championship.
I don't know man. He's always kind of been out of control and doesn't really have a shot. I'm not sure that's changed much.
Wowza. The freakest athlete we've had in a long time. I always wished he'd figure out how to put it all together.
I don’t remember anyone at Iowa that dunked as angry as he did. He just threw shit down.
