The TV market for UCLA and USC is waaaaaay beyond that of ASU and Utah. In fact, the market for either is much greater than the market for ASU and Utah.

Stuff like this is exactly why I just can't get upset about NIL. All the old guys are doing everything they can to destroy the sport, tons of traditions, make travel absolutely ridiculous for the athletes, and all to chase the almighty dollar.
I look at a USC/Rutgers matchup where tennis players are going to be flying cross country and you want me to get upset about some kid getting 100k or something? I just can't do it.

It will add a Conference Game to the schedule so unfortunately the anchor named Iowa State will need to get its chain cut and allowed to doggy paddle in the kid pool named the new B12

The college sports you grew up watching is dead. This is the NFL-lite. I hate it.
And the weather in southern Cal versus Tuscon or Phoenix in September is way different. No heat.
