I'll be interested to see what sanctions or repercussions are brought on Russia. You make it sound so enticing. LOL.

Eh, give him a break. He needs something to do in between the deep diving of internet conspiracy theories.
I'll be interested to see what sanctions or repercussions are brought on Russia.
I'll be interested to see what sanctions are possibly left. Let's start by kicking every Russian citizen not seeking asylum out of this country. And permitting no new visas from them.I'll be interested to see what sanctions or repercussions are brought on Russia.
That's an idea, I could see russias oil/gas being offered to nato at a decent price but I'm not sure that's enough usa#1 for Trump.I'll be interested to see what sanctions are possibly left. Uhhh, that's not a sanction, that's commerce. That's an idea, I could see russias oil/gas being offered to nato at a decent price but I'm not sure that's enough usa#1 for Trump.
Yup, I've seen a lot over the years on here, but he absolutely displays some hypomanic tendencies on here regarding different topics, usually involving politics. He's also a racist, and you can't blame that on anything other than being a shitty person. Hopefully he can get all that under control someday.I know this might cause him to mention how he went through a DSM revision a over a decade ago but the guy strikes me as having hypomanic fits. on the forums. That is on top of being completely annoying and posting in a way that makes hardly any sense a majority of the time. Sadly, I won't see his response, but I am okay with that.
Yup, there's gonna be a large attack within a week. Almost guaranteed.
Put on on the accounting sheet as a repercussion. 😉Uhhh, that's not a sanction, that's commerce.
I sure hope no one is aroused by that. I think the correct way of putting it is that Putin is a liar who breaks promises all of the time, he has repeatedly used fake problems / false flags as a pretext for doing what he likes, and it is a fool's errand to think he will change his stripes. I think most of us here did not want Ukraine aid to stop in the first instance, and do not want it to stop after Putin breaks more promises. If there is one fairly safe bet it is that you don't make a narcissist look stupid without a escalated response.
Godspeed.
To those of you, so blinded by politics, you are aroused at the idea that Putin will break his word and make Trump look like a fool at the cost of Ukrainian lives, so you can get your confirmation bias that Trump is an idiot, I say this from the bottom of my heart, you are pathetic.
If there is no large scale drone attack from Russia to Ukraine in the next 8 hours, I'll skip lunch tomorrow.Want to make a wager on that? Whoever wins has the satisfaction of knowing they won?
Well sir, unfortunately it's very obvious there are some here who are.I sure hope no one is aroused by that. Sure, it may be a bit longer than that but I'll stick w/ it since that's what I originally posted.Want to make a wager on that? Whoever wins has the satisfaction of knowing they won?
Not sure if you know what "handout" means.I like it, instead of funding a war for years with the only possible end is Ukraine doing just enough to wear Russia down until they give up with major losses on both sides and big money we are probably borrowing and paying interest on without any reciprocity.
This thing has to come to some kind of end, I would have given props to Biden if he had made an effort beyond handouts to try to bring this thing to a close rather than continue to give handouts.
I’m willing to see where this goes but it firmly puts the US in a more active role should Putin agree then go back on the deal.
You are making a bad decision......
Surprising to almost no one.
Not just the hypomanic, but the hypowomanic and hypochildrenic too.Yup, I've seen a lot over the years on here, but he absolutely displays some hypomanic tendencies on here regarding different topics, usually involving politics. Yeah this isn’t over until at least after Putin reclaims the Baltics. Or until NATO puts nukes in Poland.Putin will agree to this. They will use the pause to reorganize fix their logistics and then claim the Ukrainian's violated it somehow and then will resume their invasion.
This was a good press release.
"Our delegation has just reported on the meeting with the #American team in #SaudiArabia. Our, #Ukraine’s proposal for this meeting with the Americans consisted of three points: silence in the skies – meaning no missiles, bombs, or long-range drones – and silence at sea; and real measures to establish confidence in this whole situation, in which diplomacy is ongoing, which means, primarily, the release of prisoners. The American side understands our arguments and accepts our proposals, I would like to thank President #Trump for the constructive nature of the dialogue between our teams. And today, during the discussion, there was a proposal specifically from the American side to immediately take the first step beyond that and try to establish a complete ceasefire for 30 days, not only with regard to missiles, drones and bombs, not only in the #BlackSea, but also along the entire frontline. Ukraine accepts this proposal, we consider it positive, we are ready to take this step. The #UnitedStates of America needs to convince Russia to do so. That is, we agree, and if the #Russians agree, the silence will take effect at that very moment. An important element in today's discussions is #America ’s readiness to restore defense assistance to Ukraine and intelligence support. Ukraine is ready for #peace. #Russia must also show whether it is ready to end the #war– or continue it. The time has come for the whole truth. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine."
Honestly, I think you are probably right, but it makes things more lively around here (if there is a need for that)Sure, it may be a bit longer than that but I'll stick w/ it since that's what I originally posted.
Dems should promise to return control to Ukraine. Openly defy any deal Trump makes. Will openly negotiate for rights, but not under duress. It feels like this is going to end with Ukraine losing land and the US having some variety of economic colonization over mineral rights.
The deal is going to revolve around neutrality for Ukraine. It really is unacceptable for Ukraine to just hand over 20% of its country because Putin decided he wanted it.
Cut a deal for just Crimea and end this.
It finally hit ya?It feels like this is going to end with Ukraine losing land and the US having some variety of economic colonization over mineral rights.
And your point is??It feels like this is going to end with Ukraine losing land and the US having some variety of economic colonization over mineral rights.
I’m just happy the post started with “it feels like this is going to end” we haven’t had a feeling like that in three years, no matter the circumstances. And your point is??
Some have been trying to explain this scenario for weeks. You know...by the ones incapable of cognitive thinking...And your point is??
You guys are going to have to decide if the missile that just struck Ukraine count or not...... 😡
They were very likely fired before the announcement.
It isn't about learning about how to negotiate, I'll spare you the joke about him being the guy who wrote the book. It's about making putin play out his hand. You really believe there is any chance in hell that Russia agrees to this and abides by it??
If Russia was interested in any peace that is even semi acceptable to the Ukrainians it would have happened already.
If Trump learns from this, stands up to Putin and redouble his support for Ukraine and sanctions on Russia I will give him credit for learning his lesson and ultimately standing up to Putin.
My sense is that eventually he will dump Ukraine and start trading with Russia again without a ceasefire or peace deal.

We are going to end that war. That's what Trump is saying.
Agree. The amount of money the U.S. has already spent causes me pause as well. Being 1/2 in never works. Can’t fully commit to defeating the enemy. It will continue to be a money dump with many more lives lost.I pretty much figured Ukraine was going to lose territory in this one. The strong arming of mineral rights to the US is what causes me pause.
Yep. It doesn’t matter one iota what he says.Waiting to see if trump follows through with the intelligence and military support. A few days ago we saw the US tearing down structures we built to handle supplies at an airport in Europe. Will he use that as an excuse not to rush in some types of aid?
It gonna be interesting how this plays out.You really believe there is any chance in hell that Russia agrees to this and abides by it??
