UNI is so fundamentally sound defensively. Colorado was just edged out by Oregon as the preseason PAC 12 poll. They may be a little too athletic for the Panthers.

Wow- UNI make have just exorcised some major demons there after giving back another huge lead.
Great win on the road for the Panthers! Good to see them pull it out by scoring the final 6 points of the game.
UNI COULD potentially get into the at-large consideration with a 15-3 type conference season.
I seriously doubt that —- it’s a one bid league
This is a season it easily could be multi bids. Everyone is beating up on one another thus far and UNI has a legit good resume so far and last I saw the Valley has had a helleva non con as a whole..
And WV happens to be 7-1 with only a 2 pt loss at St. Johns. Next up for UNI is a game at Grand Canyon University -- although they are not as strong as they were last year, they have one of the toughest venues to play in as the students get the court side seats and they are up and active the whole night.
I was a few rows up from courtside for this game.

The committee cares little about the non power 5/6 and won’t give multi-bids especially to a league minus Creighton & Wichita State. The MVC does not pay the bills.
Don’t forget they had a final 4 team last year. If uni could continue to win in the Mvc, they could become ranked in the top 25. If that happens they could be get an at large bid.
“wimped out” by trading a game in Des Moines for a game in Chicago vs a much better team?
I think if they go 15-3 or better they could get one.

Great to see UNI back on the map. I hope the Panthers win the MVC, the conference tourney title, and leave the NCAA politicians nothing to decide. Panthers and Hawkeyes to the NCAA tourney. I love it.
I always enjoyed going to the Big Four Classic. Missed having it this year. I believe if Drake would have played Iowa this year., Iowa would have had no problem.
Drake was 0-7 and UNI was 2-5 in classic. If ISU and UNI would have played this year I would probably have bet on ISU.
I enjoy watching UNI and Drake when I can. I still haven't figured out how UNI blew a 12 point 12 in 35 seconds. Two sweet 16's in six years would have been impressive.
Problem is any Valley loss will be considered to be a bad loss.

You are correct about Valley losses. No more 12-6 and 11-7 records getting at large spots.

We should play them in Cedar Falls & @ the Knapp Center.
As a fan I enjoy those games much better than watching us play Cin.
UNI’s better than Cin this year anyway. Pretty equal programs of you look back on the last 15 years of tournament results/appearances.
