Title 9 is BS , The entire equity argument is also BS, In life You get what You earn by merit and working for it gender or race or Social standing be damned , the culture of entitlement and welfare is destroying Society . Why not give those rides to Kids who EARN it in the classroom , smart hard working People getting advancement thru merit is far more beneficial to Society than Welfare Athletics which nobody cares about except the welfare athletes and Their Parents. Iowa should have Men's Football, Basketball, Wrestling ,Baseball ( which if needed should be sponsored by MLB since MLB benefits by it thru the Draft pool ) and Women's Basketball , the rest of the sports are an absolute waste of funds and should be intermural so that those wasted funds could go to academic advancements. or kept in the revenue making or break even Sports. It will never happen tho , the entitlement and welfare mindset at the expense of budgets is wormed too deep into some Peoples fabric now.

I would add track and field plus soccer. Not revenue generating but old school with track and soccer is still gaining popularity despite my indifference. Also volleyball just because its a highschool thing too. Rowing, bleh,
And i have enjoyed watching some college volleyball. But in person not tv. Much more impressive. I have a much younger cousin that is in diving at uni. Don't even know if Iowa has swimming or diving

Revenue generating in what way? Track has 12 scholarships for a roster of 60 oe so athletes for men. Most of them are out of state students. So the team itself is generating tuition at the highest level for the University. Revenue generating has been twisted to mean only television or ticket and merchandise sales.

This is true. We have waited patiently, had meetings, and pleaded for Iowa Athletics to help us. They have always been pleasant, cordial, and appreciative for putting all of this together. Unfortunately, however, up until this point, they have not done the things that other schools are doing to help their collectives be successful. I want access to season-ticket holders and donors. And if that isn’t possible, I want them to educate the fanbase for us and endorse what we are trying to do here. See Michigan, Ohio St, North Carolina, etc.

Why should you have direct access to a database you pay nothing to build or secure? What protections do you have in place to protect data?
