He wants some time off. Wonder if USMNT looks shaky at Copa and into the fall if they wouldn’t be able to make a run at him. EPL is nearly year round while USMNT has a lot of blocks of time off which might better fit what he’s looking for.

Sucks for some fans, but like the concept for teams to travel far less. If you are a visiting fan this makes it a little easier if to follow your team vs traveling all over the country.
