Vito and Yanni up

Who here hates Iowa wrestling? Not me. I also don't see much trolling here. Much more on the PSU forum. Many here seem to have a chip on their shoulder. I'm here to talk about wrestling, especially as it affects Cornell (and their presence at NCAAs this year *definitely* affects Iowa!)
Every team that sends Wrestler's to the NCAA tournament "affects" Iowa.

the problem with the bet is that he's not saying they'll be dropping. grip's position is that it will be 133/149. his position is that it isn't decided yet, which means it could end up being 133/149 and he could still be right. you can't really bet on that outcome.
Co-worker of mine wrestled at Cornell in the mid 70's.
His gut->Him->me : 83% chance one of them is right, 17% chance neither are right.

Makes way more sense for Penn st dual . Get bonus at 125 they feel they can win 149 157 165 and like the matchup at 197.
alright alright I see where you are going here, but I really was not considering this and I’m fairly certain they will determine their lineup based on what’s best for them come March.

Alright , I see where you are going. I think they will base their lineup on what they think is best come March though.

Just say you don't want to help kids in need ;) Much quicker. BTW, you are shredding him for his "sources" but you (anonymous guy on the internet) expect us to believe you spoke to Grey. Now you very well could be telling us the 100% truth but do you see the contradiction here? Now, I don't know you but I do know for a fact that Grip lives in NY but have no clue if his sources are legit. BTW, Grey not knowing which weight his best studs are going a couple of weeks into the season strikes me as him being cagey and likely feeding you coachspeak because I'm guessing you're not the first person who has asked. If you are Kyle Dake, oops on my part and happy 16th birthday.
Chief politely just said...

He could easily bet the opposite, and three needing kids could get new shoes (the real winners). Seems like a pretty good bet to me.

I

Im not sure where you’re going with this , maybe something flew over my head.
Just laughing at the accusation of accusing people of having chips on their shoulder. As if it has any meaning.

Don’t mind me, I’m just talking shite today. Lol

Did I or did I not say "Oh and we are the only fans with chips on our shoulders?"

(hint: I did not say you were the only fans with chips on our shoulders. See the difference?)
The only difference is why would you then make the reference that there are many here with chips on there shoulders when in fact lots of fans (and Wrestlers) of the best wrestling programs have chips on their shoulders. Keep talking out of your bunghole, what an asshat!

This is exactly what I was thinking.
We can call this episode the Enemy Line Up Hearings. (The Hawk line up version will prolly have its own thread.

PS: All evidence must be notarized before being entered in this cesspool court.

Not to change the subject, but I read that the football team just dropped a Deuce?

Hey big guy, Looks like I am 1-1 big red wrestling just posted Yanni at 149. Hope you are gonna be a man uphold the bet
FFS, I made no prediction (other than predicting that your sources were lame) on which to bet. I said it hasn't been decided yet, based on what Coach Grey wrote to me. How does one bet on that?

As for Yianni at 149 for CKLV: if you think that is determinative for the rest of the season, then you must think that Greg D. is going 125 and Dom Lajoie is going 133, since Vito isn't there and isn't injured. Is that how it works?

Give it a rest already.

I'm not going to post his Cornell email address. Here's the redacted email he sent me:

Thanks Ken, much appreciated!

Darmy and Hunter are coming back from injuries, hopefully they will be back for national duals.

TBA on Yianni and Vito. Need to see more results so Vegas will be a real indicator for Yianni. Vito will not be wrestling in Vegas.

Thanks,
Mike

Check the most recent post by BigRed on the Rokfin Duals, Looks like they made the decision on Yanni early and did not inform you. So there is that
Why do you think that the lineup presented at CKLV is the final answer? You didn't respond to the idea that follows that Vito is not at either 125 or 133 if the CKLV lineup is the final answer. Is Santoro the 157 guy going forward?

Again: the lineup at CKLV represents Cornell's plan for determining who will wrestle where, between 125/133 and 141/149. I don't know why you continue to argue against that, with *no* basis for doing so.

Coach Grey said that they hoped to have Hunter Richard back for National Duals. The only place for him is at 149, which means Yianni would go 141. If Handlovic excels at 141 this weekend, that thinking could change.

Tell you what: you can argue with yourself from now on. Hopefully, you can come out on top.

Not talking about the CK, and you give up to easy! Maybe you did not wrestle and you are just a journalist , that would make sense.
