Cons. Semi - LaDarion Lockett (Stillwater) 5-1 won by decision over William Henckel (Blair Academy) 5-2 (Dec 3-1)

Slick throw by/shrug by for a TD. DeLuca leading 2-0z Working that bar half ride on top. He has it deep but Jordan not going over. DeLuca engages cling mode and rides out to finish 2-0.
Jordan starts neutral period 2. In on a high crotch. DeLuca defending beautifully. Scrambled really well through the position. Ends up up out of bounds. Jordan gets a TD after another scramble and rides out to end the 2nd.
Leo starts down to start 3rd. He gets away and there’s the lead 3-2. Lots of good action and exchanges. Under :20 to go and Leo gets warned for stalling, he’s evading. There’s a solid headlock attempt by Jordan at the buzzer but time is just out. DeLuca wins 3/2 and he is your Ironman champion!!

Our guy M* caught the red eye to be there today…. One of the first to hug it out with Leo.
They called Forrest for fleeing the mat early in the 2nd...Lilledahl, in an almost same situation, didn't get called at the end. Wins 2-1.
Spencer knows what he’s doing. See Austin DeSanto six years ago at Dapper Dan.
Cael already greasing the wheels. What a mastermind.
Lilledahl also had a TD waved off in that match. What's the verdict on that one?

Probably the right call to waive it off. Forest still had Lilledahl’s leg. Lilledahl was close to 5+ tds but Forrest is a magician.
Here we go period 1 Angelo vs Sealey. Handfighting, working underhooks for Angelo, so powerful and controlling with them.
Ferrari in on a sweep single but Sealey pulls his leg back and breaks the grip.
Sealey doing a good job controlling center and applying pressure but Angelo controlling the ties. Period ends 0-0.
Sealey going down to start 2nd. Sealey up to his feet fighting hands and Angelo can’t return so let’s him go :15 seconds in. Good handfighting but not a lot of committed attacks. Period will end 1-0 Sealey.
Angelo going down in 3rd . He’s out in :15 as well. Ferrari with another committed shot but high lock and gets grip broken again. They go out of bounds in a flurry and stall warning on Ferrari Lol. Long blood timeout for Ferrari, head wrapped now.
Going to overtime 1-1.
Ferrari in on a deep shot and has Sealey in danger. Sealey able to leg pass at the last second and hold on for a stalemate. So close to finishing.
We are going to Rideouts.

Sealy already locked in on the play defense and win at the end game. Didn't quite happen though.
The stall on Angelo was BS. Sealy pushing to the edge but Angelo the one taking shots.

gutsy win with sealey and the ref against him and no showboat after
so psu’s star recruit just pushed and pushed without taking any shots to try and get ferrari to the edge of the mat for stall calls. they hate that type of wrestling i thought?

I have a gut feeling Ferraris will be battling ref and opponent often. They are up to the challenge.

Sealy definitely using the low stance, engage and push plan. Same thing in other matches. Definitely what PSU fans complain about Iowa guys doing.
Did he really? I could understand picking him to be second (Sealey is legit) but picking him 4th borders on the dumbest prediction I've seen in a really long time regardless of sport or level. And I'm not even an Iowa fan....
It's either that or he's not even pretending to hide his PSU bias any longer.
