Warner Announces Wednesday

I am a big fan of Ersland but if Warner picks Purdue, he isn't mentally the kid we thought he was and its better off. Doesn't mean kid cant be NCAA champ in West Lafeyete but. Take Spencer Lee, I use to use the Jedi vs Sith analogy. But the kid had the same mentality as the Brands from day one. Some relate to Cael from day one. Being a Hawkeye is either in the kid or its not. IMO its very hard to fake or manufacture the mentality of what it take to be in our room. And the Brands Bros are very upfront about that. I have never figured if that's good or bad with the modern day recruits but its their practice room so I defer. I'm not sure if that's painting us in the corner with to many grinder types or what?

Like Ferentz said about the Texas RB, "Cant lose something you never had."

Newcomer? What are you even talking about? I've been posting here for multiple years, and while you bloviate and act like your some kind of insider, you are wrong constantly. Hard on for you? LOL, I'm pointing out that you don't really know the things you talk about.

As to Hawkmann, I'm not sure how I was "proven wrong" or "swung and missed" on anything. I stated my opinion based on things that have actually happened. You and others think I'm wrong. That doesn't mean you're right.

"Multiple years"? "Constantly"? Like I said, yes, a hard on. I've been on this board since the turn of the century and I like to think I've hit my mark more often than not. One thing I've learned about the Iowa program, this board, and especially Tom Brands is that nothing is concrete unless it comes from the tip top. So either read or don't read it or believe it or don't believe it. Have a nice day.

Anybody that doubts Gobblin is just dumb. He has direct connections with the staff and those close to it. I wish I could talk to those guys like he does. It would be so awesome to know what he knows!!! Great guy with a lot of knowledge about what goes on in and out of that room. There are times he leaves subjects alone for obvious reasons.
