Mulvey playing his heart out, yes....but this is a bottom feeder team struggling to beat the worst team in B1G at home.
I don't blame these guys for not being talented, I blame the coach.
PS hits that wild bank shot to beat the SC buzzer, and on the replay of the bench celebrating, you see a guy in the back ground with his arms crossed and head turned like he gives no shits at all.

These are two terrible basketball teams and win or lose Iowa has the most unathletic roster in the big ten by a country mile.

My observation s that when teams Bank a 3-pt shot, it usually is that teams night, so Banked 3 is a good thing. I swear we've seen our
oponents Bank 5 or more this season.
Than please explain why a starter only get 3 minutes a game, if not 'in the dog house'.
This is like in Semi-Pro when the rallying cry at the end of the year becomes, “Fourth Place!” Except Iowa needs to be chanting, “Fifteenth Place!”
But only Joe Weiskamp could bank a game winning shot dead in the corner on the road...

Plays hard...just a spaz on offense and doesn't seem to understand defense.
Maybe Traore will develop a shot, but he stunk with two quick shots and misses to open game and help WA get out to early lead.
Thelwell hasn't played well since the ankle injury.

Needs to be able to score at all three levels, 3pt, in the paint & mid range. Not great at any of them. Needs a lot of work in the off season, as do many Iowa players.
Traore missed early 15 ft shot, then he took a quick 3 PT shot and he probably doesn't have the greenlight for that, since he's an awful 3pt shooter. Offensive mistakes get you to bench, defensive mistakes almost never.
In the previous game, Traore made 2 consecutive bone headed plays (he threw up a wild shot & missed badly; then he turned the ball over, throwing the ball to Dembele, who was not looking for the ball).
