Tomi Taiwo and the undefeated Carmel girls won again to go to 13-0. They are now ranked #3 nationally.

“Being the only team from Illinois and having Incarnate be the team to win it year-after-year, it is really a good feeling,” Martin said. “We knew they were going to hit shots, they're big-time players, too. We didn't let it bother us.”
Martin, who was selected as the tournament MVP, scored a team-high 19 points.
Carmel will play Zionsville tonight at 7:45 in the final of the Raymond James HOFClassic.

[Against NLS]...Monika and Maggie Czinano both hit free throws with under 1 minute remaining to tie the game. As time expired, Maggie Czinano got inside and made the winning layup as time expired. Monika Czinano led the Royals with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Maggie Czinano nearly had a double-double as she scored nine points and hauled in nine rebounds.
