Who is gonna tell Finebaum the SEC is second-rate this year? :)

Should be eating crow.
But will tie himself in knots to spin the SEC debacle.
Opt outs?
Beat up from playing each other?
Bad breaks?
Obviously the bolded. That 8 game conference schedule and FCS school the second to last week of the season takes a toll on the all powerful SEC.

In addition, Tennessee had to play in the cold. Totally unfair.

Would someone please help me get the stink off of me for just barely having to pull for Ped State? I detest anything Notre Dame and always have and always will. But it's James Frankly and Penn State! I get the conference allegiance and again; Notre Dame. But, I just feel filthy wanting the Lions to win. I guess I can look at it that I'm actually wanting Dame to lose more than State to win.

Is it just this year, or do they get exposed other years with a 12 team playoff?
Btw, this playoff system is awesome. So much better than the hand picked chosen 4.
Really? The bottom four all lost no contest games, and the top four all lost, some in embarrassing fashion. Not at all sure why we've had to have two weeks to get to where we are now

Without the playoff, the top 4 that you mention all lost, some in embarrassing fashion, may have been the only teams in the previous 4-team format.

Or for example, Ohio State and Notre Dame would not have gotten in.

I have the same problem

And for those who thinks ESPN is not biased for the SEC....

"If we do get an all-Big Ten final, the tone and tenor of ESPN around that game will be something to pay attention to. The SEC is their cash cow; the network has invested considerable resources to ensure that the league remains the premier one in sports."

I checked the Paul show yesterday.
To his credit..he owned it.
He conceded that the SEC wad overrated this season and indicated this is probably a true changing of the guard at the top of college FB.

Of course his callers were fans who like all fans were bitching about how NIL and portal is a Yankee conspiracy to hurt SEC.
