How could he have won it when he couldn't or didn't answer multiple questions, of have guts enough to admit trump lost the election?

He kept looking out at the camera out of the right side of his face and I wondered if that was the same side of his mouth he was lying or was it the other side. lol
You would have to consult with the bulk of the media, including liberal media, that have said Vance won the debate for an answer to your question. It’s probably not a big thing to get your panties in a bunch over, as I would concede the results of a VP debate likely doesn’t move the voting needle much. However, if the tables were turned and Walz did wonderfully in the debate, all you Dems would be touting the VP debate as something really relevant.

Vance blamed her for everything he could come up with that he thought was a failure, which was a lie. I wonder if trump wins and has a failed 4 years and Vance runs for president, that he will be willing to take the blame for all failures of trump.
I would hope so as any administration should be a team effort.

Vance didn’t “win” in a traditional sense or on substance, but yes, it’s more his element than trying to be a normal human, so he exceeded expectations. The sad part is that he knows he still thinks Trump is a moron, but he’s more interested in career advancement than not being a pathetic cuck to Trump.

LOL. An award winning social studies teacher and state champion football coach to you, meathead.

If I was trying to lie to stay in Trump’s good graces, I’d whine about getting fact checked too.
Assistant football coach…let’s get the facts straight.

I gather you must have believed Harris should had done more as Vice President, given your criticisms of her for not being particularly impressive in the role. But, if we're being honest, it seems you don't find any recent Vice President all that remarkable. I find it curious that people often point out Harris's lackluster performance as if it's an anomaly, when in reality, most VPs aren’t particularly impressive—and that's largely by design.
However, the larger question is if people have confidence that the VP could step in and take charge if something, God forbid, happened to the president. Does Kamala Harris really inspire that confidence in many people?

I don't think Vance was 'slick'. I think he was polished, intelligent and had the facts on his side. That doesn't qualify one as slick.

I don't remember a better debate performance by a Republican in my lifetime. I liked him prior but this is the sort of candidate we need. If he ascends to the top of the party, as he should, gone are the 'where did all the good Republican's go' comments.

Presuming of course the Dems mean that. Because also, in my lifetime, every single Republican, no matter how honorable, have been called dumb, dishonest or mean. Or all three. They have been calling Vance wierd. He proved to all last night that he is not. That attack has been neutralized.

Vance is none of these. And Dems should be shitting their collective pants.

Vance 2028.

It would be nice if the Republican candidate for VP knew who won the 2020 election. It's kind of an important fact.

A hell of a lot more than the POS Trump or the inexperienced opportunist Vance. Harris is the clear choice.

IDK, in a race as contested as this one is... most of the swing states and even the nationwide polls suggest this is a tight race within 1-2 points in either direction, if a good or bad debate performance moves the needle a half point in either direction that could be HUGE.

If you tuned into see how "weird" JD Vance is, you left disappointed. That lefty talking point was pretty much put to bed. If you watched with a totally open mind, and your goal was to see who do you want 1 heart beat from the presidency, Vance didn't seem weird at all, and appeared at times much more ready for the pressure of the job.

Sure….as soon as the guy who lost that election, and is running again in this one admits it.
would that REALLY matter to you? Honestly? If Trump came out today and said, I accept the results of the 2020 election. I also got some bad information that led me to believe that I had won, but it's obvious to me now, that 2020 didn't go my way, but I'm looking forward to 2024, and I think we have a real chance to win.

How would that change your thoughts?

So just pretend Jan 6th didn’t happen?
Who is pretending? Not the prosecutors, not the judges, not the defendants, not even Trump... What do you want to see happen at this point? Public hangings? When is it time to move on?

But Trump can't (and won't) say that because he said, "Make them riot. Do it!!" And BTW he was told and it was testified to under oath to a grand jury by Republicans that he didn't get bad advice. He was told repeatedly that he lost. And yet he gladly accepted the 'bad' advice and criminally chose to act on it.

Trump wasn’t the one who said “make them riot.”

He’s a piece of shit and should be disqualified from holding office because of what he did, but let’s not run with false narratives.

Yeah, he only hired the person who said "make them riot," and said he didn't care when Pence was almost killed.

And it only took taxpayers spending 35 million for Jack Smith to find a literal "so what".

I gotta tell ya Huey, enjoying getting edged for 3.5 years seems excessive, even for you.

Since the debate thread got shut down...a simple poll. Who won?

I think for all intents and purposes it was basically a tie. Each had their moments. I did like that it was a more traditional debate and they were basically civil with each other...

Kind of weird (sadly) to see them shaking hands, talking and introducing their spouses to each other afterwards. Used to be the norm but really hasn't been in the last 3 cycles...

First of all…what bad information? Nearly everyone on his staff, the AG, Pence, etc all told him he lost, and there wasn’t any fraud.

Second, it wouldn’t change anything regarding Trump, but it’d make me more open to any republican hopeful who could admit the truth instead of lying to stay on Trumps good side.

Third, this is a stupid hypothetical from you. If Trump could provide even a moments worth of humility, he wouldn’t be the divisive, terrible human being we’ve seen for 8 years.

I never really paid attention to this before but it should tell you how gullible the Democratic Party is.
They win the presidential election and bring in a vice president. They know that vice president can be brain washed so they elect them as the next presidential candidate. 4 or 8 years later they repeat the same cycle. What’s really pathetic about it is that they don’t do anything great as vice president and yet they promote them to presidential candidate anyway.
Look at how much Harris is trying to separate herself from the current president that she is supposed to still be working under.

Typical sophomoric take.

Hummm…Biden assigned Kamala the border…which she failed on, so there’s that.
he did?
I hear this all the time but he never did place get in direct charge any more than Trump put pence in charge of anything. Please, let’s just end this “bullshit” about Harris being the “border czar”….thus is nothing more than a Republican branding…

Lolol cooooooppppeeeeee. She was and is the border czar. Leftist media called her as such. We have the receipts, the gas lighting isn't going to work here. 400% illegal immigration increase is Harris's legacy. Harris and the far left even lied and claimed the border was secure! Frauds

Facts. On. His. Side……and Vance don’t seem to have much in common. The Senator LIED all night long Gus…Walz chose not to call him out is all. Remember, Vance and Trump gave America Springfield, Ohio….a place the folks living there do not recognize.
