Here's a quick glance at google when pulling up u.s. cattle revenue for 2022. When there is that much money involved you can bet on it not going anywhere for decades if ever. I'm betting on ever.

The Bolt is cheaper. Charge rater is a bunch of crap. I have a PHEV and no thanks on that. My 110 is fine. Maybe its range isnt as good, but its more accessible for the average person. When I see someone in a Tesla, my first thought is "Pretentious".

The studies that have been posted are based off guesses, not hard science.
In reality, cows are not all that inefficient, but when you shove hundreds into a feed lot, let their manure polute the water ways, and only feed them grains. This is inefficient.
Cows have the ability to live off the land without any input from humans and actually improving the environment by fertilizing the ground, spreading seeds, keeping weeds down, preventing overgrowth of trees.
This is the epitome of renewable energy.

If you are talking about wild bovines in an eco system where their population is controlled by natural predators that is something totally different. The NIH is also not always right. This is one of my biggest complaints about research. It is only as good as the people conducting it. It is very easy to push a specific agenda with research. It is impossible to factor in every detail when doing research. So what happens is you get research about a specific item that ignores the overall picture.
