The US has a great track record in Central and South America, and they have no reason to not trust us.
I see what you are getting at here but this is completely different with a lot of the UN nations behind Guaido and helping the people of Venezuela escape this murderous regime.
The US is forcing the aid to certain areas, and refusing to use established aid agencies. The US is openly calling for the military to revolt.

If we help to get rid of a man mostly everyone agrees is a monster and allow Venezuelans to stay home and live free, we are a bad actors (at least if Trump does it anyway). Actually, the leaders in agreement with the US are pressured and fear sanctions. The propaganda spewed mentions 30 plus nations supporting Trump. The fact is, 170 nations oppose this thuggery.
This is BS. Elliot Abrams (war criminal extraordinaire) is notorious for smuggling arms into countries under the charade of aid. Just lift the sanctions on Venezuela. Washington has been after the largest proven oil reserves since at least 2002.
