OK, I was just reading and laughing at most of these, but this one made me type. What did JU do to "diss" Wisky on his way out? Seriously, i must have missed something. There's only one character in that play that i recall receiving near-universal and national crap for how he handled that situation and he retired earlier this season (although i'm pretty sure he's complaining to a ref somewhere even as we speak

Well, nobody likes their pretty girl leaving and moving in with somebody else, especially in the same neighborhood, attending the same church, so there's that.
I would argue not meeting with your HC to discuss the transfer and ask for the ability to go to a competitor but instead go public and national with the discussion , was probably something, JU could have done differently.
It's one thing to say, 'I'm leaving and let's leave on good terms, release me and let me go play for Iowa and another thing to slink off in the night, without a word and then fight the battle in the media.
Maybe Bo Ryan wasn't articulate enough to fight his battle, I don't think he explained his side well enough but in the end, I'm ALL for kids transferring and even playing immediately, if they are buried and won't get a chance to play.
Frankly, though I'm sure Uthoff is happy in Iowa, I think he made the wrong decision.
He would have taken some minutes from both Hayes & Dekker last two season's and would have taken some of Duj Dukan's minutes also AND Bo would have played more 1 guard offense (he did play some last year with Dekker & Koenig handling the ball) and I think Uthoff might have won 1-2 National championships, though hard to beat the Refs too when playing Duke.
He'd be a better all-around players with Bo's coaching than from Silly Franny by now also and this year he'd have gotten VItto's minutes and more.
