Would you rather have the Big 10 without extra four?

If Texas joined, Nebby would probably look for a new home again.

Not if Texas had to comply with the same rules as the rest of the league. If Texas was allowed to keep the Longhorn Network and have its own set of rules, then yes they would probably want to bolt. As would a good portion of the league.

Texas would have to give up their own TV network, the Big Ten offices would not move to Texas, the Big Ten title game would not be played in Texas, they would have to share TV revenue equally with all Big Ten schools, and only get 1/15th or 1/16th of a say in conference decisions.

I'm pretty sure those drastic requirements would be intolerable to UT so no, they ain't coming. I agree with Nebraska fans that Texas does not play well with others. They are not joining the Big Ten, but may find a home in the SEC.

Anybody who thinks Texas would come to the B1G and keep their line of operating is insane. Oklahoma is getting sick of their crap even though they have been pansies for years. Try that crap with Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State and they would get a quick reality check.

The rest of the Big 12 had to deal with that same injustice. It provided the Bugeaters a convenient excuse to mask the real reason they left: they were 1-9 vs Texas after the Longhorns joined their conference. 1-9. They were coming to a "weaker " conference to clean up and return to their glory years. Funny how karma works. They have become the bitch of the B1G and Texas has also fallen to irrelevance.

Oh, I forgot to mention they were 2-6 against Oklahoma while Stoops was the coach. They averaged less than 14 points a game vs Bobby. There was a new Big 2 in their conference and they sure as hell weren't one of the 2.

The B1G will round out to 16 with OU and UT. The BTN has acquired Oklahoma's Tier 3 rights after 2021 and neither school will extend the B12 GOR beyond 2025.

Were the records he quoted of Nebby vs Texas and Oklahoma incorrect? I'm too lazy to look it up.
I knew Neb sucked against Tex but didn’t realize they sucked that bad.

On a different note, has every team in the B1G beaten Neb already in just the few short years that they’ve been in the league?

Nebraska had plenty of chances to beat UT all the games were tightly contested and fortunately we shot ourselves in the foot more often than not they diffidently had a voodoo husker doll..

Indiana, Rutgers and Maryland haven’t beaten the Huskers since we joined and Penn St,Michigan, Purdue and Illinois have only beaten Nebraska once in the seven years we have been in the B1G.

I always forget about Mary & Rut. I’m surprised Ind hasn’t beaten you yet. The only team that hasn’t from the conference teams when Neb started.

I’m curious what’s Neb’s record against each conference team since they’ve joined.

What do you expect from Delany, we have played Rutgers more times than Indiana and the Hoosiers haven’t been to Lincoln yet and their a original Big 10 team.

I love these idiots who know nothing about Nebraska football that spew shit from their keyboard. Whatever you want to believe if it makes you feel better.

Are the records wrong? Did someone revise them to make you guys look bad? I suppose my memory is also playing tricks on me that the little black defense gave up 70 to Wiscy in your solitary B1G championship appearance.
You clowns truly have a cult going there.

The record is correct where he is completely incorrect is stating that is the reason Nebraska went to the B10. So he had his facts half correct.
It is widely known that Nebraska jumped to the Big Ten at the time that the Pac-10 offered a 6-school package deal to UT/A&M/TT/OU/OSU/CO. Irony is that Nebraska ended up better than all six of them (maybe a same-same with A&M).

They ended up better how? In terms of revenue? Yes. In terms of competitiveness? Nope.

It doesn't matter. As posted above, in more than 120 years nobody has ever been booted out of the Big Ten. When you are in you are in to stay. Life the Mafia.

Thanks but I’m still too lazy to look it up & nobody on Earth cares enough about Neb football to research this anyway.

If any of you Nebbers over here would be so kind as to put up your record against each B1G foe I’d be curious to see how many losses you have.

Wisconsin is their new Texas. 1-6 against them. 3-4 against us. They have done very well against PSU though.

Here you go. Found this wealth if info on one of their sites. They have a winning record against all B1G teams except against Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio St. and Wisconsin.

I’ll type slower for all you Nebbers out there. What’s Neb’s record against B1G teams since joining the conference?

We already know they have a losing record against Iowa & Wis. maybe against Minn & NW as well. Oh St obviously.

If Neb didn’t have to play any B1G teams every year they’d be undefeated in conference play!

Surprisingly, they only have a losing record against Wiscy, OSU, and Iowa since they joined the conference. They have a 34-25 conference record in their 7 years in the B1G.

Thanks for the info. You know it’s amazing with all the hick Nebbers on this board, when you actually have a question about how bad their program is, none of these losers want to participate.

Listen, if you’re going to be completely irrelevant in the CFB world & hang out on a Hawkeye board, at the very least you should be here to answer any questions the mighty Hawkeye fans may have about your sh*tty program!

Better stroke yourself while your happy. Many feel the Nebraska program is on the rise.

Many=very very few. I’ve been on record about Scott Flop’s failed tenure at Neb since the day he was hired! Of course I said the same thing about Riley so what do I know.

Let's add Cincy, Louisville, ISU and Missouri. And ditch Penn St. OSU, Michigan, and Mich St. Add all of the first four to the East.
