WWE Raw

I would agree, where do they go from here, because this just trumped every thing else going on in the promotion, nothing can touch this. MJF is now a babyface.

Knowing AEW, I'm sure they have a well thought out long-term direction for this....just add Young Bucks.
Vince Russo WCW. :).

Grass is always greener where the cows been shitting. Would be my advice to MJF. Don't see him thriving in WWE.
Jericho throwing shade at MJF is gold since MJF is what made their 'fued' tolerable, the indirect shade at the WWE is pretty rich as well, and it screams that this is a work more than before.

Curious what Punk's opinion is regarding his co-worker, we know what it was when it was Sasha and Naomi.

I didn't see his opinion regarding Sasha and Naomi.

"Doesn’t matter if your opinion of your coworker is positive or negative. Stand with them. Because they’ll do the same thing to you and you’ll wish someone helped. Trust me. You’re expendable. Together you’re unstoppable"

This was Punk's reply to Matt Cordona in reference to the Sasha/Naomi situation when Cordona said he should of stood up for himself more in the WWE.

Matt was getting over without permission or within context of the WWE Universe.
That's going to cause nature tension with creative.

Thought a bit more about the MJF promo. Wrong time for it. Miro had to go on after that and totally unfair to him. Plus it makes Wardlow look like a schmuck. It undercuts almost all of the storytelling the rest of the roster is attempting. Bring him back in a month after he's had more time to absorb it. Longterm I don't see how this helps MJF. The WWE isn't going to want him. There is no room anymore for guys unwilling to stick to the script. U can not undercut the WWE product. Know your role and shut your hole. The other Tony Khan won't put up with it.

Yeah, plus they're trying to go into the Forbidden Door, which requires a lot of storytelling to introduce the majority of casual fans to the NJPW guys.

He's under contract, he can't go anywhere, it might be best to pull him off TV for at least a month. I think you can do that, and let things cool down. Any casual fans who would have been like "What happened to MJF?", well now you know.

If MJF wants to sit on the shelf for 18 months or whatever, that's fine. He's got a legitimate case that he's underpaid, and TK would be well served to get him back in the fold. But if MJF burns the bridge with AEW to the point that WWE has no competition for his services, I'm not sure MJF is going to get what he wants anyway.

call me a spot monkey fest mark all you want, but Young Bucks/Lucha Bros from last night's Rampage was one hell of an entertaining match...and listen to the crowd, they were so into it...not as insane as their ladder match at All Out for the AAA belts, but nothing will ever top that for a car wreck match I've seen in person...

Those matches are better in person than on TV. My issue is what was at stake?

I understand the occasional appeal of it, that was entertaining, but how many times can you kill somebody? The manner to which you have to suspend disbelief for these types of matches is too much for me to enjoy regularly.

To simplify that, if you see the same thing over and over again, no matter how amazing it is, eventually the shine starts to wear off and you lose that excitement in what you're seeing.

And that might be one of the biggest differences between the two companies...WWE is a television show...the match is for the people watching at home, not in the arena...AEW is a show for the people in attendance that just happens to be televised...

AEW show is a party. WWE show is a picnic.
I'll be attending on June 22nd just based on how much fun I had when AEW was here last time. Can't say the same for WWE. Unless there is a big draw scheduled to be present. I'll watch on DVR maybe.

The party/picnic comparison is a good one. They target two different audiences. WWE goes for the whole family, while AEW caters to the young male adult market. I'm just curious how long Tony can keep this up without growing his audience. Does he continue to spend his inheritance so he can pay people like Pac and Nyla Rose 2 million a year?

Where's "here", just curious?

I don't watch wrestling anymore, I miss the good old days when men were allowed to be men.

Curious , what if anything these new allegations have to do with Stephanie taking a leave?

Stephanie literally never took a vacation, even when her husband was in the hospital with his chest cut open, and then suddenly takes a leave the same month as the investigation happens. Hmm

Yep he's a scunbag. Didn't he get arrested for allegedly exposing himself in public? Also the whole Pillman widow interview live on RAW was revolting.
If any of this can be proven true I am going to guess the board will take a vote and relieve him of his duties.

99% of the stuff I've seen on social media isn't new info uncovered by this latest accusation, some of it was actual story-line behavior that wouldn't fly today. Doesn't sound like anything illegal happened, depending on where the payout money came from? I have no doubts he likely had an office romance, likely one of many, but I would scratch my head at why he would risk his position trying to use company money for a payoff, when the man is a billionaire?

My other thought is Vince isn't going to lose control of the company, he may step down, but his board has his daughter on it. The McMahons still likely own majority share in the company, but if it fast tracks getting rid of Johnny, that can't be a bad thing.

Just speculation, have no clue what is really going on, and nothing would shock me with this company.

It's a closely held company masquerading as a public one. My thoughts it could be a power play by the other Khan to try and force a sale.

You mean Nick Khan has a buyer lined up that doesn't want anything to do with a McMahon and the offer is contingent on all of them being out of the company?

Nah, that would never work...
Vince will kill himself before he lets go of the company.
