Well if it keeps Vince's masterbation fantasy of former bodybuilders having a pose down as the main event all is good. Not so fast, my friend.

A sense of entitlement, with a dash of stupid thrown in?99% of the stuff I've seen on social media isn't new info uncovered by this latest accusation, some of it was actual story-line behavior that wouldn't fly today. Doesn't sound like anything illegal happened, depending on where the payout money came from? I have no doubts he likely had an office romance, likely one of many, but I would scratch my head at why he would risk his position trying to use company money for a payoff, when the man is a billionaire?
My other thought is Vince isn't going to lose control of the company, he may step down, but his board has his daughter on it. The McMahons still likely own majority share in the company, but if it fast tracks getting rid of Johnny, that can't be a bad thing.
Just speculation, have no clue what is really going on, and nothing would shock me with this company.
Vince is more of a narcissist than anything. Claims to have slept with 25 women in one session. So an orgy with one guy and 25 ladies. It's kinda surprising Vince thinks he can be the CEO of an Entertainment company geared towards family in the current landscape.A sense of entitlement, with a dash of stupid thrown in?

Still don't think he survives. It's publically traded stock at this point. In its report Wednesday, the Journal reported that Vince McMahon set a separation agreement with the employee in January 2022 that included a $3 million payment doled out over time in exchange for an agreement not to disparage McMahon or the company. WWE board members first learned of the settlement offer through a series of anonymous emails received from an individual claiming to be a friend of the former employee, according to the Journal.
The board’s investigation uncovered other settlement agreements involving McMahon and Laurinaitis, the Journal reported. A WWE spokesman told the Journal that McMahon’s relationship with the woman, who was hired as a paralegal in 2019, was consensual and that the executive used his personal funds to pay the settlements, including those involving Laurinaitis.
If this is all there is to the claim, Vince will survive this...
And he gets to go on TV tonight and "defend" himself in character...anything he says he can claim to be part of the script given to "Mr. McMahon" played by Vince McMahon...brilliant!
Think he comes out "in character" with the "No chance in hell" intro music? In its report Wednesday, the Journal reported that Vince McMahon set a separation agreement with the employee in January 2022 that included a $3 million payment doled out over time in exchange for an agreement not to disparage McMahon or the company. Well, he came out in character for one last ego pop.Think he comes out "in character" with the "No chance in hell" intro music?
I'm hoping the fans chant "What?" every time he pauses for a breath...
It's a PR issue. But hey they're able to take the Saudi blood money. And click along just fine.More may come out, but right now he is guilty of having a consensual in office affair, that he entered into a NDA that he paid out of his own pocket? I think he survives, at a minimum as actually running the the day to day with his daughter as puppet CEO...I just don't see this being the thing that takes Vince down, but again fingers crossed Johnny has an appointment under the bus.
This isn't a legal issue, but I'll never underestimate the man that has Jerry McDevitt on his speed dial.
NBA - China trumps anything WWE has done in the Middle East, WWE is actually presenting women as competitors, moving things forward, and trying to do good, respecting the culture making women be covered, but pushing the envelope. NBA ehh, just give us billionsIt's a PR issue. But hey they're able to take the Saudi blood money. And click along just fine.
As long as he's still running creative with as u say a placeholder CEO. No real damage.
When I see Samy Zayn or an openly gay wrestler then they can brag. Women were already allowed some tokenism in Saudi Arabia.NBA - China trumps anything WWE has done in the Middle East, WWE is actually presenting women as competitors, moving things forward, and trying to do good, respecting the culture making women be covered, but pushing the envelope. Looked quite frail and unsteady on his feet...Is Vince drunk? He looks like shit even for an old man.
The eyes. Looked really weird. The rest of it can be a work. But the eyes looked really messed up. Like a nervous breakdown or drugs.Looked quite frail and unsteady on his feet...
It was like that on TV as well...trying to cram too much into 2 hours...with all of the injuries, I imagine they've had to rewrite the build to and actual card for Forbidden Door several times...missing Omega, Punk, Danielson, Hardys, etc hurts...The show was just ok for me. Trying to get as much screen time for New Japan guys as possible for PPV which is understandable.
Danielson is amazing to watch hold a crowd in the palm of his hand with only a mic. Cage's heel turn should be fun and may attempt to turn MJF face.
Zero/Black match of night followed by Andre/Penix on Rampage.
Strongest pop might have been Cole. Dude needs a big feud.
Women's division is skippable even live.
People watching is always great. No matter how fat u feel go to one of these shows guarentee u will be in top 10% of fitness. Lady had a Sailor Moon shirt on. Problem she is closing in on 230. Some jacked up dude at ringside was shitting on Orange Cassidy. Wasn't sure if it was a work until security told him to sit down. Fairly unnerving.
Best sign MJF wants VKM hush $$$$.
Silas/Hangman was good. Dark was entertaining with Lee/Swerve. Swerve taking a nap waiting for a tag while Lee was crushing the jobbers. The dude banging on Orange needed a glass of GFY bad. Sorry man u can't lift enough weights to make it as a Pro. The 80's/90's are done.It was like that on TV as well...trying to cram too much into 2 hours...with all of the injuries, I imagine they've had to rewrite the build to and actual card for Forbidden Door several times...missing Omega, Punk, Danielson, Hardys, etc hurts...
Christian's promo was gold...
Silas got a pretty good pop from his hometown crown

Cesaro, but I've heard his ask is huge. Josh Alexander. But that doesn't fit the mold. Honestly can't think of anyone.Who do you think Danielson's replacement is going to be?
And Cesaro it is. Will be interesting if it's short term or heavy push.Cesaro, but I've heard his ask is huge. Josh Alexander. But that doesn't fit the mold. Honestly can't think of anyone.
BCC Heavy Push for sureAnd Cesaro it is. Will be interesting if it's short term or heavy push.
Put with Dainelson and Regal. Dainelson could be just as good as Heyman for him.if you don't go all in on Cesaro, don't go in, same with WWE, he's capable if he has a Heyman, AEW has no Heyman. This will end bad for Cesaro, that's what AEW does
And Cesaro it is. Will be interesting if it's short term or heavy push.
Naw Roman Reigns came through the crowd and had Claudio acknowledge him. Causing Claudio to get school boyed by Sabre Jr.Did Claudio win?
I have no clue on how to read Tony Khan and his hires and decisions...tweek.Naw Roman Reigns came through the crowd and had Claudio acknowledge him. Causing Claudio to get school boyed by Sabre Jr.
It will be interesting to see how the Blackpool Combat Club shakes out going forward. I'd have Dainelson wrestling less and talking more for Yuta and Cesaro.
Won't spend a nickel to go to a WWE show. When it's the same guys fueding for 5 months. Playing 50/50 tag. Will watch a DVR fast forwarding to whenever Reigns/Heyman is involved. Because nothing else matters.I have no clue on how to read Tony Khan and his hires and decisions...tweek.
Won't pay little to if any money to watch his ppv's
Half assed following along online, and can wait until tomorrow to hear about every match being 5-17 stars.
That was a jammed packed PPV- and that's with all of the injuries-Naw Roman Reigns came through the crowd and had Claudio acknowledge him. Causing Claudio to get school boyed by Sabre Jr.

Orange and Ospreay was really good to me. My fault would be too many trios/ etc matches. Mox delivered as usual. The rest to quote Cage I wont remember next week. That was a jammed packed PPV- and that's with all of the injuries-
if you gave them a year to build to it, I think AEW/NJPW could sell out a stadium Wrestlemania style...
The multi-man tag matches are the NJPW influence...most of their big shows, the undercard is almost all 3-4-5 man tag matches...gets everyone on the card, even if they don't have a "big" match and lets them set up new feuds...Orange and Ospreay was really good to me. I just don't care for that. It feels random instead of interesting.
