Idaho jury awards $1.1 million to a drag performer in defamation case against a Karen

Eris Posey performed in a gay pride parade in Coeur D'Alene three years ago, and far right blogger Summer Bushnell posted a video claiming Posey had exposed himself to children, with blurred images covering his genital area. He did not expose himself as shown in unaltered video, and personal accounts. Posey received death threats after the claims of Bushnell went viral.
It's nice to see accountability, however, Bushnell still has the original video and claim on her Facebook page.

Up in Minnesota for the Week

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Drove up to Minneapolis today to put together some podcast content (link coming this week, I believe) that I think you’ll enjoy.

Tomorrow I’ll be heading up to Leech Lake for a men’s trip with some family and friends for the remainder of the week. I’ll still be getting content out and regularly checking the boards, but wanted to drop a note and let y’all know in case you happened to notice a little bit less of a presence here from me. Gonna be spending some good quality time with my dad this week and take a bit of a breather.

As always, appreciate every one of you for being here. Excited to keep working and bring you better and better content and info as we progress. Thanks for being such a big part of what we’ve got going on.

Insider Info?

Why is it so hard to find info out about Iowa wrestlers? It seems like other programs have more wrestlers competing in the off-season or just have more coach/wrestler/player/parent info that gets out about off-season progress.
I find it hard to believe someone doesn't know if Ryder Block is going to try for 141 or if he is still injured? Ayala 125 or 133? Is Parco staying 149 like most think he will? Is Caleindo going for 157!! What's going on with Kennedy? Ferrari's? Cass?
It is amazing how many big story lines are out there.
No wonder it drives the Cesspool crazy.
Is Brands so tight lipped because he thinks it helps the opponents? I just don't see the harm and telling the public what weights some wrestlers are thinking about?

Didn't know this was a thing. Wordle for music. You listen to the isolated drum track, then layer the bass, guitar, etc until you recognize. Or not.

getting a bit of a 2008 flood vibe this morning

Looking at the radar light up this morning, I can't help but remember how the June 2008 flooding began with a series of carpet bombing rain systems running over the same areas.

No, I highly doubt that's going to happen (we didn't have the over-saturated soils to begin the spring like we did in 2008) - and even though much of eastern Iowa is still technically in a drought - Iowa has been getting a lot of rain lately, and the forecast for this weekend is saying maybe a lot more is coming this weekend.

1993...2008...OK we've missed the 15 year window by a year, but still. I just have had this feeling that when the drought breaks, it's going to break big.

Since The left Is Determined to Detract From and Erase the True Meaning of and Passion For Memorial Day [Weekend]

Please join me in congratulating george [fentanyl] floyd, on achieving 4 years of sobriety today!! Well done and well deserved!!! There will be riots and looting to celebrate this glorious event at a liquor store near you!!

Five Hawks named to Dean’s List

It is great to be an Iowa Wrestling fan.

Go Hawks!
