KENPOM SPREAD: Iowa -7 (Iowa 87, Penn State 80; Iowa 74% chance of winning)

Iowa had no realistic NCAA Tournament aspirations before picking up back-to-back wins over Wisconsin and Michigan State in recent weeks. Those bubble dreams took a hit with Saturday's loss at Illinois, but Iowa's bubble hasn't popped yet.

But a loss to Penn State tonight? That would almost certainly limit Iowa's path to the NCAA Tournament to one option: win the Big Ten Tournament.

Penn State is ranked 96th in the current NET rankings, which means a home game against them counts as a Quad 3 win (or loss). Iowa cannot afford another Quad 3 loss at this point in the season (the home defeat to Michigan was the other Quad 3 loss Iowa has suffered this season).

Penn State has been a streaky team all season and that hasn't changed in recent weeks. The Nittany Lions have gone 5-5 over their last 10 games, starting with a two-game losing streak over Ohio State and Minnesota at the end of January. That led to a three-game winning streak against Rutgers, Indiana, and Iowa, which was followed by a three-game losing streak against Northwestern, Michigan State, and Nebraska. Currently PSU is on a two-game winning streak, stunning Illinois last week and beating Indiana again over the weekend.

I hit the big 40 today.

Kramarczuk’s Sausage Company in Minneapolis was DDD restaurant #40 for me. It was outstanding. I had the combination platter which came with three pierogi, a cabbage roll, and a Ukrainian sausage.
God bless all those people who dared to make tasty food, and toiled away at family owned joints for years. God bless Guy for putting them on TV.
Dinner tonight will be at #41, the Surly Brewing Company.

Penn Biden Center Deletes Visitor Logs - Classified Documents Scandal of Our Time

This was about as much of an accident as Team Hillary smashing subpoenaed cell phones with hammers, I'm sure.

To the lefties on the forum, it's reasons like this that nobody takes the trump lawsuits seriously. Biden is guilty of significantly greater crimes, is actively deleting evidence/covering it up, and never had reclassification power when he stole the documents in the first place. All while having his top political opponent investigated for the very crimes he knows he himself is in violation of.

Who did biden allow access to these documents? This needs to be thoroughly investigated. Surely the democrats can't possibly object given the obvious issues with biden's behavior.

Who should play the 5 at the same time as Hannah?

If Iowa has to go big, bench Marshall and put Sharon Goodman in for defense alongside Hannah for offense.
I just think when Sharon stands tall straight with her arms up she presents the biggest wall. I'm surprised how her minutes
have been cut as the season has progressed.

There will come a point against certain teams where Gab Marshall offers us nothing and we will need more minutes from ALL
the bigs. It might not always be for offense but more so interior D, putting a body on a defender boxing out, then ultimately,
preventing rebound baskets.

Minnesota Twins

Any fans on here? Loving the moves we've made in the offseason so far. Especially like the Morrison, Odorizzi and Lynn pickups as of late. Rodeny and Reed should really help in the 'pen as well. Seems like Levine and Falvey think we're pretty close to contending and are gearing up at a deeper run in the postseason this year. Refreshing to see after the Terry Ryan debacle. Excited for the season.

Time to stop giving a crap about people getting "triggered" by stuff.

Seriously. We need to start telling these people to "Get over it or close their eyes". Goddamn this is stupid. I think I'm getting triggered by these people getting triggered.

Anya Taylor-Joy slammed for 'triggering' Instagram post: 'Can we not normalize starvation?'

Anya Taylor-Joy landed herself in hot water with her fans.

The actress attended the New York premiere of "Dune: Part 2" in a gold bodycon dress, with a layer of black tulle on top. In an Instagram post recapping the night, Taylor-Joy posted a black-and-white photo of herself in the corset she was wearing underneath, showing her followers how slim her frame is.

Commenters immediately began voicing their opinions about the actress' decision to share the photo, with some calling it toxic, and others saying there's nothing wrong with it.

"Do you realize how corsets are hurtful for women's health and should not be promoted," one person wrote, with another adding, "Can we not normalize starvation?"

"Rough. Expected better from you tbh. Thinness isn't chic," another follower commented. "Nothing to be proud of & sets a poor example for young girls," wrote another.

"This is really triggering to a lot of people :(," one comment read.

While there were many negative comments under the post, there were some who came to the actress' defense, with one fan writing, "Sensing A LOT of pettiness and jealousy in these comments."

Some fans called for everyone to "let a woman be free" and realize "she’s not promoting anything" by posting a photo of herself in an outfit. "If she likes it good, if you don’t, it’s perfectly fine," they concluded.

This WBB team is so much more versatile &…

Honestly, deeper than last year‘s team. I’ve recently really been digging backwards on last year’s team stats & box scores versus this year’s and I think there’s a lot of blind spots and poor memories of last year’s team by our fans.

And I specifically looked at the South Carolina game. 3 girls played almost that whole game. CC, 39 minutes, Gabby, 39 minutes and Kate Martin 37….

Warnock played 31….

Guess how many shots Gabby Marshall took while playing vs the best team and defense we played last year and will this year?

Do you know someone who would fall for this?

"Police were called to an event described as a "Willy Wonka Experience" in Glasgow as angry families demanded refunds.

The event was advertised as a "journey filled with wondrous creations and enchanting surprises at every turn".

But one visitor told BBC Scotland News that it was little more than "an abandoned, empty warehouse".

It was cancelled by organisers House of Illuminati mid-way through Saturday following complaints from parents.

They have said full refunds will be given to everyone who bought tickets, reported to have cost up to £35."

President Trump calls on Alabama legislature to take action to protect IVF services!!!

Former President Donald Trump on Friday weighed in for the first time on the Alabama Supreme Court's ruling on in vitro fertilization a week ago, signaling that he opposes the decision and urging the state legislature to pass a measure to protect those services.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that he "strongly" supports the availability of IVF for couples "who are trying to have a precious baby."

"Today, I am calling on the Alabama Legislature to act quickly to find an immediate solution to preserve the availability of IVF in Alabama. The Republican Party should always be on the side of the Miracle of Life — and the side of Mothers, Fathers, and their Beautiful Babies," he wrote.
