****1/4 games thread****

Drake does a great job of ball movement and finding the open guy, this is the best team in the Valley.

Without Morsell I don’t think there’s a single position they’re better at than Iowa.. he’s a big time leader for them

he might be a leader but he has shot horribly this season and has the lowest O rating on the team of anyone playing 10 mpg.

Drake isn’t that young, OP. Tank and Murphy are grad seniors. Wilkins, Brodie, Sturtz, and Penn are all juniors.

In a weird year like this one, it pays to have experience.

But that was fun to watch. Every loose ball and rebound seemed to go to Drake. SIU was worn out before it started.

Yep some transfers in I forgot about. I'm just getting to know them now.

Drake was #20 in the NET rankings, they could be AP ranked soon without
a loss this week

Indiana is about as bad of a B1G team that I have seen this year. What is the back story of the Galloway kid from Indiana? I know one of their main scorers is on the bench with an ankle injury, but watching that Galloway play is making me appreciate the Iowa Bench even more

Iowa could lose to either of these teams.
Both are quicker than the Hawks and play better defense. Against our defense either team can shoot well from the arc.

Yes, I think Iowa is a lot better than either Maryland or Indiana, but road games are wild cards. Any given night a couple random bums can have career nights from 3pt line. Maryland has near zero post presence. Indiana had a undersized but super quick center--will probably put up 25 pts on Iowa but Garza might have 30+.
