Think this might be a slight advantage for Iowa. We've played quite a few noon games, I doubt oregon has played many 9am west coast games.
Hopefully they are still on West Coast time.
If they've been in indy for 4 days they'll prob be acclimated.
I am still not used to daylight time
F that. I still don't get why they changed the normal TH through Sunday, TH through Sunday, Saturday and then Monday. I don't see where they gained anything.

Don’t they have 6, 7 gyms at their disposal? For multiple games going on at/around same time? Why would any team have to tip off before 4pm? Absurdly stupid by NCAA.
It doesn’t impact either team. For viewing purposes, it seems odd for West Coast viewership.
FML. (and f* the Selection Committee and/or NCAA for starting the West & East regions on Saturday/Monday instead of Friday/Sunday)
Welp, sure hope the Hawks will provide me with some very enjoyable DVR watching late Monday night or Tuesday.

If it weren't for the prior commitments I can't get out of, I would have loved that start time for Monday morning.
Hawks aren't really a stranger to 11a start times, but I'm betting Oregon isn't used to 9a tips (local West Coast time).

The state of Iowa should just declare Monday an 'all businesses/government buildings & facilities shut down' holiday. The amount of "sick day" call-ins - outside of those who weren't already taking the day off - will be insanely high.
Here is my question if Oregon plays their game tonight are we still the 11 am game Monday? I say no because it’s a short turnaround. I feel this start time hurts Iowa more. With our early evening game we should at least be the 6 pm or later game. Hell we are in the West bracket for Christ sake😂

Maybe this is NCAA payback for a certain player's tweets. Play with little rest, and wash out of the tourney. Not quite as corrupt as relying on ref's whistles.

Well this kind of sucks....this whole Monday decision was incredibly dumb by the NCAA...
I was pretty happy when I was seeing people guess 4 and 5 PM. Would have been perfect.

Wow. Nobody is ever happy on this board it seems. About anything! Hawks win- complain. Hawks lose- complain. Hawks make the NCAA tournament as a 2 seed- complain. Hawks face a team with a big center and that bring lots of fans- complain. Refs- don’t even get me started. Advance to the second round- complain. Playing Oregon who got a bye- complain. Tip off as a feature game of the day? - complain. No, the NCAA is not punishing Iowa.

If the game was today I think it would be an issue , but not Monday. On top of that even though they've been in Indy for a few days I still doubt that Oregon has much experience playing in games this early in the morning, and they've been sitting around chomping at the bit to get in a game. I don't see how any of this favors Oregon.
Don't complain about the quick turnaround.
