I was just thinking we needed more of the same posts about this Weisskopf kid.
Anyone know if Brix is still a take for Iowa? Not sure if they’re done with the OL.Wiesskopf on 247 is a 4* on their main board rated #177, and a composite 4* .
these are the 4* players by 247
OL Fox
LB Campbell
LB Wieskopf
QB Resar.
these are by ESPN
OL Fox ESPN 300
LB Reis ESPN 300
LB Campbell
nice to see all 3 incoming LB'rs are 4*'s.
OL Brix if he commits is rated #96 4* by ESPN and is rated #110 by their composite and #132 by their main board.
Rivals he can't even make their top 250.
LB Buffington 5.6
LB Wiekopf 5.6
LB Campbell 5.5
QB Resar 5.6
OL Fox 5.8 4* at #163 after dropping from #73 right after he committed to Iowa.
I would assume he is still a take, but the kid has blown up on the recruiting front. TOS, has him high on PSU, NU, OU, and ND.Anyone know if Brix is still a take for Iowa? Not sure if they’re done with the OL.
another Iowa kid that feels Iowa is not good enough to play for.I would assume he is still a take, but the kid has blown up on the recruiting front. TOS, has him high on PSU, NU, OU, and ND.
It does appear Rivals undervalues this class almost across the board.Wiesskopf on 247 is a 4* on their main board rated #177, and a composite 4* .

I too appreciate the updates, but Lemming is such an Iowa homer.Give it up to @Franisdaman for those great updates on our commits and soon-to-be-committed recruits for Swarm 24. I really enjoyed the comments from Tom Lemming on our OL recruits. These guys are going to be super. Thanks, Fran!
I read in another thread that our OL coach "unfollowed" Brix on Twitter. Probably not a good sign.Has there been any movement on Brix from Iowa? Top Iowa recruit and has done a lot of visits
Probably a sign that Brix wasn't continuing to reciprocate interest. At that point, the coaches likely chose to just cut-bait. There are only so many hours in the day. The coaches want to make the best use of their time.I read in another thread that our OL coach "unfollowed" Brix on Twitter. Probably not a good sign.
he is not listed among those with a offer. these are the ones listedA new visitor is scheduled for 06-20-23;
Sam Thomas
OT 6' 5" 265 lbs
Elkhorn, NE
I'm not certain if Sam has an offer from Iowa or not.
If it's on an internet message board thread, it must be true 😟, shucks!Probably a sign that Brix wasn't continuing to reciprocate interest. At that point, the coaches likely chose to just cut-bait. There are only so many hours in the day. The coaches want to make the best use of their time.
Nathan Roy announced his top 6 choices a few months back and Iowa was not on the list.he is not listed among those with a offer. these are the ones listed
Nathan Roy 6'6 280 lbs 5.8 4* Mukwonago, Wisconsin
Styles Prescod 6'6 265 lbs 5.5 5.5 3* Fishers, Indiana
Caleb Pyfrom 6'5 300 lbs 5.6 3* Omaha NE
Grant Brix 6'6 270 lbs 5.8 4* Logan IA
if Grant is no longer on the board. any of the other 3 would be fine by me or maybe see what is available in the 2024 portal to join the 25 class who have offers from IA.
Brooks 6'8 340 lbs 5.8 4* CR IA
Owen Strebig 6'8 lbs 5'8 4* Waukesha, Wisconsin.
these are the only 2 OT with offers right now.
Iowa's Barnett is going after bigger OL not to mention the 4*'s as well.
no missed recruit really hurts until they arrive on campus.Nathan Roy announced his top 6 choices a few months back and Iowa was not on the list.
Unfortunately for us but the one who hurts the most is Brix. Unless he has a change of heart, Grant will not be a Hawkeye.
Iowa st didn’t make his cut. I think it’s down to Nebraska and ND.no missed recruit really hurts until they arrive on campus.
remember these.
Jones was a AA game selection and a 4* and posters still thinkh he was a wasted scholarship.
even Colby was a 4* and posters doubt his ability to play FB.
they are just 2 of the current players very few poster have anything good to say about.
6'6 287 lbs Lauck was a 4* Under Armour AA, who may RS this fall
6'4 275 lbs Leighton Jones was 3* Under Armour AA who may RS this year.
and until they play there is no way of knowing if they are failures or another success story.
I think he will pick ISU or ND.
I hope he picks ND and not Nebby.Iowa st didn’t make his cut. I think it’s down to Nebraska and ND.

So back-to-back years of missin’ out on our state’s top recruit and OL…bumskis
If only we could just force kids to come here.So back-to-back years of missin’ out on our state’s top recruit and OL…bumskis
Or they like what they have right now better. Missing out on Brix is no where near anywhere comparable to missing on Proctor. Fox will be a top tier IOL, and Nolan/McCaslin will both look like good OT prospects. So back-to-back years of missin’ out on our state’s top recruit and OL…bumskis
Brix is not the top recruit. OL Cody Fox is the top rated OL at 163 4* while Brix is a unranked 4*.So back-to-back years of missin’ out on our state’s top recruit and OL…bumskis
According to what site, Sir?Brix is not the top recruit. OL Cody Fox is the top rated OL at 163 4* while Brix is a unranked 4*.
future casts show him 100% to Oklahoma by the publisher Parker Thune and 28% to ISU with 26 votes
Do you expect a legit answer? it is on this site, but hasn't been updated since Feb.According to what site, Sir?

Rivals but let him commit to Oklahoma he will jump up into the top 100.According to what site, Sir?
Ok, well, 247Sports lists Brix as the top recruit in the state.Rivals but let him commit to Oklahoma he will jump up into the top 100.
Cody Fox was originally ranked #73 till he committed to IA then he dropped all the way to #163 a 90 point drop all because committed to IA.
THIS IS THE IA WAY. according to Rivals
