Looked like a nice enough day in Iowa City Wednesday. Why was the last scrimmage cancelled?

Hawks get a verbal commitment from McKenzie Leitgen from Arizona. She visited a few weeks ago,
Hawks get another 2025 verbal. A pitcher from Utah. Rita Leialoha Tavita.

I recall they were hoping for a home tournament. Guessing the effort to recruit teams for that tourney is holding up release of the schedule.
They do have the weekend of March 1st open. So they may still be working on it if weather cooperates.
Seems like there aren't many transfer rules anymore. Wouldn't surprise me if she can play.
Team is having spring training in Florida again this year. Loving the Herky practice shirts!
Wrapped up Spring training today. They had a lot of rain this year. Usually have 4 or 5 scrimmages, but do to rain, only got 1. Maybe 2?
$35 a day! What a joke.
I've watched a lot of softball. I don't think I've paid more than $10/day to attend any game/tournament.
