We might get rolled today but my hope is we are fully healthy when Michigan visits Carver the final game of the season.
It will be a nice showcase for the two best players in the B1G. I hope the hawks can hold their own in a hostile environment
Does Michigan pack the rafters for women's games like Iowa State supposedly does?.......
On BTN following Hawkeyes vs. Minnesota
Michigan had a fantastic crowd for the Monday night game against Indiana earlier this week.
Uphill climb today. Hawkeyes have a "hand tied behind their back". i will be very impressed if they can pull this one into the win column... puncher's chance!.
Her defense will be needed. Be interesting to see how the lineup shakes out. Still hoping Taiwo gets extended minutes and we find a few minutes to get Syd some reps as she played well against the Badgers.
Michigan is going to do everything they can against Clark and let us shoot open 3’s all day. And we apparently won’t make them.

I simply hate this woman doing color. Her voice is just grating as hell and annoying beyond reason.
PBP guy notes Bluder has 7 players and she makes a comment about playing the tiny violin and says “shut up and deal with it”.
Michigan is down 1 player. Iowa is down 5 from its starting roster. So trying to equate that is the dumbest thing ever. We have to play lights out just to keep it within 20. But yeah let's berate the short handed team for not "dealing with it'
On the one hand, injuries are absolutely having an impact on the game. Needing to play a small lineup against Michigan isn't going to work. Fatigue is also likely having some impact on our defense.
That said, our defensive effort just isn't good enough. That is something the players who are playing can control. You can't give up wide open threes on one or two passes. After multiple rotations, sure. But not as easily as they have been.
Too often defensively, the team just stops when a Michigan shot goes up. This is the best rebounding team in the conference. Box someone out! Move towards the basket if there's no one to boxout. Don't just stand there.

Sydney is quickly becoming a favorite. We need to get more minutes.
