Ayala is a definite possible AA. Kennedy will also be in the lineup.

A healthy one definitely isAyala isn't a possible AA?
Yes. And Nelson.I know it is not official but if Cass does lose that last year, quite the bummer. I really wanted to see one last run for the championship. Is this Assads last year as well?
Thats too bad. I could see a healthy Assad pull off a Mad Max type of run at Nattys.Yes. And Nelson.
Really? In my wildest dreams I wouldn’t pick that to ever happenThats too bad. I could see a healthy Assad pull off a Mad Max type of run at Nattys.
Real and the geo fence don’t mixI heard rumor Woods was be on list. Glad he isn’t. Is it too early for Ben to go???
Would that be the gender exclusive nature of the investigation?Tried to told y’all.
Now just pray the NCAA plays nice. (Doubtful)
Plus - the appeal/defense of the attorney is likely to piss them off.
Would they be NAIA eligible? With the covid extra year in the NCAA I don’t know how that works.APPEAL this BS - maybe go NAIA if you loose? NCAA is a $HIT$HOW!!!
Nobody is. Wrestling community is pretty small. Mineo isn’t really breaking news here that wasn’t pretty much knownWho the hell on the Iowa staff (or close to it) is leaking information to this guy?
I don't get it.
We knew the players already.Nobody is. Wrestling community is pretty small. Mineo isn’t really breaking news here that wasn’t pretty much known
If a guy like me knew, well it wasn’t a very well kept secretWe knew the players already.
weren't you one of the dumb@ss saying 11 guys, and how could the penalties be worse if they are senior and suspended for whole season. hate people who bring out i told you so and you were wrongNobody is. The remaining 10 could all be Track & Field,I count 16 former & current Iowa student athletes being named so far. But I think there's MORE than 10 yet be be named because the UI's May 8 announcement stated the list of 111 individuals included 26 CURRENT student-athletes. The list of 16 student athletes (and one coach) that follows contains at least THREE FORMER student athletes (so there might be more 10 student-athletes yet to be named).
* On March 22, 2023 BB player Ahron Ulis announced that he was entering the transfer portal. He ended up at Nebraska
* FB players Reggie Bracy & Arland Bruce transferred in the offseason.
Of the Iowa student athletes (former & current) tied to gambling, here's the breakdown BY SPORT of who's been named publicly so far:
Baseball:
Keaton Anthony
Jacob Henderson
Ben Tallman
Gehrig Christensen--criminally charged
Football:
DL Noah Shannon
DB Reggie Bracy (now at Troy)--criminally charged
WR Arland Bruce (now at OK State)--criminally charged
WR Jack Johnson--criminally charged
Kicker/Punter Aaron Blom--criminally charged
Basketball:
Ahron Ulis (now at Nebraska)--criminally charged
Wrestling:
Tony Cassioppi--suspended for season?
Nelson Brands--suspended for season?
Abe Assad--suspended for season?
Cobe Siebrecht--suspended for season?
Cullan Schriever
Patrick Kennedy
Men's Track & Field:
no one yet named
Student Managers:
Evan Schuster, Iowa Men's Basketball--criminally charged (accused of betting on Iowa games over the last 2 seasons)
Coaches:
FB Grad assistant Owen O'Brien--criminally charged
The release you posted above said 11 current student-athletes.Update on this big freakin' mess:

No, suspensions use your eligibility. So if they are a senior wouldnt they be eligible to come back next year?? I dont honestly get the losing of egilbility.
Oh, you better have your ducks in a row before you say that.MultiHawk is wrong.
It does happen everywhere. This was a concentrated effort to target Iowa and Iowa State. Not sure how or why Drake, UNI, or all the D2 and D3 schools in Iowa went unscathed. My guess is someone was looking to make a name for themselves. In the end, the state is probably looking at several lawsuits for the way they went about accessing their information and targeting. This is one of those things that could have happened almost anywhere. We all have done questionable things, outright dumb things, with our friends at that age.
Wrong guy buddy. Apologies are acceptedweren't you one of the dumb@ss saying 11 guys, and how could the penalties be worse if they are senior and suspended for whole season. hate people who bring out i told you so and you were wrong

With a top ten finish in real jeopardy at Nattys, you don't burn a redshirt for Kueter. And I wouldn't burn it with Arnold either.Pack on that muscle Kueter! Your time is now son. Red/Gray shirts seem less important now with the NIL and transfer portal.
I normally would agree. I just don't believe in punt years nowadays with NIL and the Portal. Although this maybe the year to do itWith a top ten finish in real jeopardy at Nattys, you don't burn a redshirt for Kueter. And I wouldn't burn it with Arnold either.
No way in hell.
The additions of VV, Franek, and Caliendo were an early indication of how impacted the wrestling team was.
Gonna get ugly next winter.
