In Pa. elderly people often like going to the casino, many are women and they love the slots.Right? That makes sense. The breakdown by gender might be equal while games of choice differ.

How is that different from any other state? In Pa. elderly people often like going to the casino, many are women and they love the slots.
Posting rumors? Say it ain’t so.I have heard many names that were involved and then found out those individuals weren't involved. So for people to be naming names they must've been told by those individuals or family members. Or they're just posting rumors without verifying anything
Not sure, I was responding to El Dub when he mentioned the athletes were all male and wondering if maybe sports betting was more men than women. I think so. I think women seem to love the slots. Since I live in Pa. I am relaying what I see. And I do not see many women bet on sports, I cannot recall any other than my wife on a sports app and one time only. How is that different from any other state?
Interesting that it appears to be all male athletes accused of gambling. I’m now curious how gambling addiction breaks down by gender.
This is for gambling that occurred on or after May 2nd. It doesn’t apply to the situation of either Iowa or ISU
Still going to get punish for doing it
That sure is one hell of a rumor. I wouldn’t buy it.Rumor is loss of eligibility year and no post season so in essence a whole season ban for sports like wrestling
What is the ratio of bad news rumors to good news rumors that one, such as yourself, typically hears and shares?Rumor is loss of eligibility year and no post season so in essence a whole season ban for sports like wrestling

Not necessarily.30% of the season is the maximum penalty
It also states betting on your own games or on your schools games could be permanent loss of eligibility. So if the wrestlers or football players say bet on Iowa woman national championship game it could be season or career ending. Not saying they did just an example. Not necessarily.
More than $800 gambled: Loss of 30% of eligibility, plus rules and prevention education. The NCAA stipulated that for cumulative wagering that "greatly" exceeds $800 could result in additional loss of eligibility.
Nobody wants to hear that. LolIt also states betting on your own games or on your schools games could be permanent loss of eligibility. So if the wrestlers or football players say bet on Iowa woman national championship game it could be season or career ending. Not saying they did just an example.
When this rumor started flying in the beginning of May, betting the women’s basketball final 4 was attached to it.It also states betting on your own games or on your schools games could be permanent loss of eligibility. Ha! That will be their RE-action, no doubt. But I’m guessing this is the wake up call. The reel question is his hard will they hammer this into athletes’ heads now?Let’s hope all Iowa coaches and their staffs were on top of this and communicated with their rosters to not place bets on the Iowa Women’s BB team or the Women’s final four.
Which unfortunately I believe was done with at least one of our wrestlers. He’s a big time name too. It’s hard to speculate on suspensions due to the newness of all this but I am now more worried than ever. It would be a shame if a 50 dollar bet on women’s bball ends a guys career. It also states betting on your own games or on your schools games could be permanent loss of eligibility. Tell us his name.Which unfortunately I believe was done with at least one of our wrestlers. He’s a big time name too. It’s hard to speculate on suspensions due to the newness of all this but I am now more worried than ever. It would be a shame if a 50 dollar bet on women’s bball ends a guys career.
Besides Iowa State and Iowa can you name any other D1 schools in the state? I guess UNI but who else?Don’t you find it is odd only Iowa, and ISU.
No other schools involved.

I think we will all know soon enough. But he’s a big piece on our team.Tell us his name.
Should I be Real concerned?Which unfortunately I believe was done with at least one of our wrestlers. He’s a big time name too. Hell, if he’s a big piece of the team and just speculating who he is then maybe he’s a coach. I’ll be back in September.I think we will all know soon enough. But he’s a big piece on our team.

I was being sarcastic. Wasn’t being sarcastic about seeing you in September.Already said no coaches involved. Just one member of the athletic office, everyone else is an athlete.
I think we will all know soon enough. But he’s a big piece on our team.

She grew up in Tampa so signed up for a teaser bet, 55/1 to pick the winner, she won $275 lol. Well we both did that day.
Well no shit they do. Men take more risks in general, since the days of the hunter gatherer’s.studies show men gamble at more problematic levels than women
I guess the larger penalty betting on your own school’s team MAY have a bigger penalty because you MAY have insider info. I don’t think there were any players out, coming back from injury, etc that would lead to insider information. So hopefully even if they did bet on the Iowa women’s BB team, it would just be a normal penalty. It also states betting on your own games or on your schools games could be permanent loss of eligibility. So if the wrestlers or football players say bet on Iowa woman national championship game it could be season or career ending. Not saying they did just an example.
2 months is not much time at all in the legal system.it's been 2 months; you'd think the investigation would be complete, but who knows

I do not know how you could gamble yourself into debt when gambling on these fandual/ draftkings type sites. You withdraw money before hand from a debit account.
Unless of course that the money in your debit account was needed to pay your actual bills, like rent/mortgage, utilities, food, etc. Get the point?Well no shit they do. Men take more risks in general, since the days of the hunter gatherer’s.
