I don’t respect dishonesty. I have no problem with people who are honest and say they know Trump is a piece of shit, but they are going to vote for him anyway because ________ (fill in the blank). My opinion of avoiding the draft has changed drastically over the years. Guys from my home town have marched off to fight in every one of this wars over the last 60 years to come back in a coffin. There hasn’t been a war since WW2 that has been worth dying over.
It’s all about money, oil and other BS.
I was one that blindly marched off to these bullshit wars.
I now have 5 grandsons. If the left gets the war with Russia they so desperately want, I will do everything in my power to keep them from being drafted and sent to die in a meaningless war.
One guy from my neighborhood went to Vietnam to die, another went to Canada.
The one that went to Canada has lead a long and happy life, the other just has a head stone in the town cemetery that nobody visits.

The losers bullshit has been proven to be fake yet the left keeps repeating it.

I feel like we've discussed this over and over again, but here goes.

1. Dodged the draft with the age-old "bonespurs" medical excuse that his Daddy arranged? - Not really. Military service isn't for everyone. You don't have to serve to have an appreciation and/or understanding for serving.

2. Called our brave service members in Europe "losers and suckers"? There's still speculation as to whether or not he actually said this, but based on his comments to/toward Sen McCain, I lean heavily towards them being true. In which case, I'm not personally bothered by them, but they impact my trustworthiness of his support for the military. It's just another area where I don't believe a word he says regarding military policy.

Trump is a narcissist, so it's not surprising he doesn't understand/appreciate what it means to serve others or one's country.
