I doubt he'll get much of a look from a Power 5 team. More likely a smaller school.

I'd say it was 99.9% expected. Pretty awesome of the kid to wait until after the ACCCG, though. Brock needed a back-up. Best of luck to him. Bring on Luke!

The portal didn't open until today for undergraduates.

I think AJ believed his own hype, and thought he could coast into #2 this year, and be anointed as the starter next year. He was helped by a lot of message board fans in thinking he was the next big thing. He apparently had trouble with the playbook in the Spring, and also had trouble with reads and accuracy.

Meanwhile, Brock Glenn was stalking the coaches constantly, wanting extra film review, etc.

It's a good move by AJ and likely helps FSU, too.
