I have a pretty good idea that if the deniers, people who minimize what happened and people who worship Joe Pa and think the rest of the country and the courts are wrong had acknowledged the issue, worked to fix it and hadn't engaged the outside world like they have you probably wouldn't have to read/hear about it nearly as much as you do now. You being a very good case study of what keeps this issue alive like this.

As a reasonable fan I do understand that. However it comes up from far too many people, it is a very vocal minority that makes the perception of your fanbase and school what it is. Silence those individuals and most of this has faded away by now.

I am not certain where I have ever joked about the incident. If I have it is out of character and I regret doing it. I do enjoy that you have lumped me in with others when is what you are complaining about other fan bases doing. I work with Penn State fans on a weekly basis. They are almost as embarrassed by fans like you as they are the situation that got the university in this mess. We have agreed to disagree at times but the realize the tragedy that this situation was and hope to move forward. On a side note I am guessing that you would be a little more respectful if you met me in person as well.
