Both the Warner and the Assad losses come down to the Hawkeyes not being able to finish. Simple as that...when you've got a leg in the air, you have to be able to get the take down.

How do you mean that? Bastida was winning, so that cannot be a final second win can it? That makes Real Woods win a final seconds win for the Hawks. Assad was behind so that was not last second winning or is that what you mean? Seriously trying to understand your point - I am not being a Smart A$$
This HVY match is a joke...the ISU guy spent 2:13 with his belly on the mat, and only 1 stall call from that? Good lord.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Cass look this bad. Gets the win but completely exhausted and didn’t give much of an effort the last two periods.
Hell of a dual, glad to come out with a win. We need every bit of Lee and Woods. ISU came to wrestle hard and they did. They have a tough team.

Cass's mat IQ leaves a lot to be desired sometimes. Too many times playing with cradle fire. Almost turned giving up a harmless 2 into big trouble.
I miss when fat Cass would throw guys on their heads.
"coming down to the final seconds" to me simply means it is very close.
our 5 wins were by an average of 7 points. ISU's 5 wins were by an average of about 1 point. they did a good job of winning the matches that came down to the final seconds. kudos to them. that almost won them the dual...
Too bad we didn’t have a returning National Finalist that could have shut him up.
My BTN Hulu feed cut out to some stupid football show 30 seconds in to Cass's match. Friggin pissed.
I’m not sure. Woods hadn’t gone live for nine months, had a tougher opponent and seemed more like what I’d expect, as far as conditioning goes.
Both of them had the leg three times. 6 times resulted in zero Hawk TDs, but one ISU TD.

Woods wasn't hurt for the past year. He has had a ton more mat time.
I thought woods looked great. He chased that freshman all over the mat looking to score in the first. And didn’t even look tired at the end of the dual. Credit to swiderski as he will be very good and caught woods for a takedown but that kid isn’t beating woods this year. Real is going to finish some of those shots as he gets more matches in.
He did act like a fool, but he earned the right to blow kisses by winning the match.
