How Iowa could throw a wrench into the B1G's title race and eliminate the conference from the CFP.

Final B1G Standings: Losses in parenthesis
East
Michigan 7-2 (IA, OSU)
OSU 7-2 (PSU, MSU)
PSU 7-2 (Mich, IA)

Michigan's defense begins to wear down, their QB remembers he is a freshman, they stub their toe at Iowa, and lose a battle at Ohio State.

Michigan State is the thorn in Ohio State's side again after a dismal season for Sparty. Ohio State goes on to win a slugfest against Michigan.

Penn State continues to get owned by Iowa. A week after being in a dogfight against Purdue for 2 1/2 quarters, Penn State plays with fire again against Iowa and gets burned.

West
Iowa 7-2 (NW, Wisc)
Neb 6-3 (Wisc, OSU, IA)
NW 6-3 (Neb, OSU, MN)
Wisc 6-3 (Mich, OSU, NW)

Iowa flips a switch after a much needed bye week and everything clicks. The OL gets healthy and they really start to play really well. The WRs start getting separation and the offense comes to life like we all thought it would. The defense keeps playing stout and becomes one of KF's better units. King continues picking off passes and scores in every remaining game. Iowa goes into December with a chance to steal another Rose Bowl bid.

Nebraska goes back to being Nebraska finishing 9-3 for what seems like the 9th time in 10 seasons. Rumblings begin to come out of Lincoln questioning if Riley is the right guy for the job. They lose to OSU and aren't able to get the job done in what ends up being a defacto B1G West Championship game in Iowa City.

NW wins a showdown against Wisconsin to seriously enter the B1G West race. Minnesota is able to steal one from NW a couple of weeks later.

Wisconsin finally has a let down game against NW after going through a brutal stretch of B1G contenders.

*This scenario requires Iowa to beat 3 ranked teams in its last 4 games. I know it sounds crazy but it is Halloween and Iowa didn't play last weekend so I'm grasping at straws here. The only outlandish part of this scenario tho is Iowa playing well. The rest absolutely could happen.
