Matt Nelson on the offensive line 3 sacks last week.
Beth is that person who doesn't know the nuances of a sport but has a very strong opinion anyway.
Her delivery on every play is the same.....always finishes a play by trying to get her voice really low, in an effort to make herself sound like one of the guys calling a game.
“Iowa has been aided by poor Indiana tackling today!” Or maybe Iowa is just making plays with superior athletes Pam or Beth, or whoever the hell you are.
It's not so much that she's a woman as that her voice is like listening to nails on a chalkboard to me. It sounds like she's trying to talk in a fake lower register voice.
That voice hurts me. I had a seizure mid game and went to the ER. Doing ok.
She doesn't bother me. I actually liked Anthony Becht. I save my anger for in-game situations rather than the announcers.
She really appeared and sounded drunk today. Eyes were reddish and the Ss were shhhlurred. The Ps sounded like someone wondering where the Pppledge Ppppin was. I thought Bethmire needed a nap in the 4th QTR.
I knew it was going to be a long game when on Indiana’s first drive when she let us know the 29 yard fg was within the kickers range.

She's in a tough, male-dominated gig, so I try to give her the benefit of the doubt. And as I've said before, she's really no worse than most male football broadcasters...BTW: that color guy was brutal today, IMHO...but I finally had to give up and switch to the radio call, and I've never cared much for Gary D. But I just had to do it.

Amani Jones suspended next week for a targeting hit last week. Ignores the play on the field to say whatever it is she is thinking about. She is horrible.
When talking about Brian's time as Patriots tight end coach she made some remark about Gronk being a tight end they threw to "exclusively." Im guessing she was trying to say extensively but still extremely awkward and the weirdest possible way to avoid talking about Aaron Hernandez.
Overall shes just awful at her job but thats true for most of the people the espn crusaders employ anymore.

She did a good job. I always like hearing her PBP. The color guy, though, was clearly pulling for the upset.

It would have been different if Gus did the game, sure. But better ... that’s questionable. But that’s just my opinion largely because I don’t think two yard gains should cause the TV color guy to hyperventilate.
IMHO, she's a title lX announcer. she misses more calls than our beloved dolph. without someone like eddie p. having her back, she is a no talent.

Hey, it's just my opinion, so how can it be "wrong"? You're entitled to yours. Do you have one that you could put into words?
I gave it an honest go... asked myself to just watch the game and not think about who was doing the broadcast.
