Not a fan of the gimmick. All-gold or All-black looks much better.

Because they used red, white and blue pom poms at a FB game a couple years ago for Veterans Day tribute when Iowa was playing Wiscy. It turned out the Wiscy fans did not participate in the tribute but used the pom poms to cheer for their team. They have also done the "Go Red for Women" game on the day they played Indiana. Bottom line, Iowa sports promotion is weak to maybe worthless.

I agree. The striping just doesn't show up that well on the radio.

Dolph is going to be confused as all hell. "Well Bobby we have some folks in gold and some in black, I think some thought it was a gold out and some thought it was a blackout.
