Would love to know what else was said. Gard was jawing or "explaining" something in the handshake line. But it's a big leap from that to slapping.

Anyone want to still say s*** about Fran skipping the handshakes against Illinois a couple years ago? Very likely avoided something stupid.

It is more than Howard, multiple players threw punches. At least two Michigan players and at least one Wiscy player. Howard should be suspended for the balance of season, I think Gard grabbing his arm should possibly garner a game suspension. Warren needs to come down hard on Howard.

....and Holtman absolutely blew up on the refs during the OSU game yesterday.

...and Tom Izzo doing his routine bitch-fest on the officials against Illinois AND then rips into the refs during the post-game press conference.

I wish Fran weren't such a fireball sometimes, but to act like he is any different than most of the other B10 coaches is laughable. Media treats Fran differently simply because he doesn't win enough.

Yeah but let's be honest. That second technical on Howard might have been the best thing in college basketball this year.🤣

Howard needs a big multiple game suspension at the very least.
Davison jacked Mich. center in the ribs with his elbow, yet another cheap shot from him.
Wisky players were going a little over the top with late game 3/celebration (Hepburn).

This game shows why some of us weren't ready to give the Hawkeyes a pass for losing at home to a mediocre Michigan team. Wisconsin blew them out of the gym, and the Michigan coach didn't take it well. LOL

Michigan beat Purdue by 24 points and IU in Bloomington by 18 points.
Any team with Dickinson and the #1 recruiting class plus Brooks and Jones has plenty of firepower and had won 4 of 5 coming into this game today .

I don't blame Gard one bit. Michigan is pressing down 15 or whatever under a minute. Fine, you want to do that, Gard is going to call timeout so his team doesn't turn it over. What's the big freaking deal? The other coaches are tried of the crap Howard pulls, talking to their teams the entire game. Gard apparently was tired of taking his nonsense.

The punch was really a slap or maybe a back of the head grab. He did form a fist after the initial contact. Probably a multiple game suspension.

At least two Michigan players and one Wisconsin player threw a punch. They will get suspensions.
