It used to be more common for athletic teams to have Player/Coaches. I’d feel better about this next season if we just made Cade our OC and let him call his own plays.

This is shaping up to be a fine thread. I can sense the brain power surging already.
Could it be worse, he's actually ran an offense his whole life and has played the position of qb. In reality his resume is better than Brians for the two coaching positions. 😄
I mean, the play calling isn't great at all but until we can prove that this new offensive line can block and our new WRs can get open... it still won't matter.

Has a KF QB ever been allowed to check into something that wasn't a run directly at an 8 man front?
I would like to see an RPO play where the qb actually keeps it instead of handing off 99.99 percent of the time. Like the defense doesn’t know who is getting the ball….🙄
Last season was a moment in time,... historical measurements are still in progress.
I just want him more vocal with his teammates. Hope maybe he sees a pass rush coming from his right side. Lol.
In fairness, he kept hoping one of his teammates would block someone. Anyone. You had to admire the optimism.
