2901 points, passes Maddy Siegrist for 19th all time on the NCAA scoring list.

Edit: Wiki says there are 18 players with 2900 points besides CC.

CC went through a similar shooting slump at the beginning of last year too (Kansas State). Hope she has it figured out now.

She's currently 16th on the career scoring list. It's remarkable that she's played 108 games to accumulate these stratospheric numbers compared to other players on the list well over 110 and much higher.

Caitlin is on pace to break the all time AIAW/NCAA scoring record of 3,649 (Lynette Woodard, Kansas, 4 time All-American, 139 games played, 26.3 points per game, 1978-1981).

The 3 point shot was not around when Lynette played. Caitlin has made 382 threes so far in her career, where, if she played in the era when Lynette played, those 382 points would not have counted.

Not discounting Caitlin at all, of course. Just pointing out how the 3 point shot has changed everything.

I believe Caitlin is 20th in all time assists. She had 794 (213 Freshman Year, 256 Sophomore Year and 325 Junior Year) coming into the year and has 60 this season for a total of 854. She'll likely end up in the top ten, but would need the fifth year to break the record.

If the gals make a run in the BTT and NCAA, she can get in more than 34 games a year, so at current rate should break the NCAA record.
Also, on a different note - her picture above where she is dribbling - she has her hand on the side of the ball at chest height. I really hate what the players can get by with carrying the ball no days. Some guys just carry it every dribble but it isn't called anymore.
When I played (terrible at it) as a sprinter I could win those dribble runs from end to end but we had to keep our hand on the top of the ball. The way they dribble now would be carrying the ball. This new tyle allows you to keep your head up and turn the corner, both very difficult in the old days
