IA should be in the top ten and 2 of the blue bloods (KY & Duke) may be out of the top 25, which means IA can win it all if they maintain their mental focus and get in the right region for March Madness. IA can beat anyone if they have a great shooting night from the 3 plus their defensive efforts, this could be a very special year for Hawk Nation.

The season is still early but enjoy the ride folks!

It's good to see IA's rise to show some of past good recruits who passed on IA.

Yeah what a year, and I hate to sound greedy, but Iowa needed this after the past years. Football mainly after 2010 was a struggle and tough to watch. This past year was a surprise and I think it was much needed for the fans. It showed that Iowa can take a team and be undefeated and play exciting football.

Basketball outside of last year's late run, was pretty tough to watch at times (usually Iowa would win a few in a row, and then crap the bed). We would upset a team or two and then lose to someone we had not right losing to. This group of players is playing smart and together which is HUGE.

Enjoy the ride, I think the hawks will drop a game or 2 before the season is over but I am okay with that. Winning every game in conference is tough and even the "best" teams can't do it. So I hope they keep winning and if they do lose, flush it quickly and move on. 5-0 w/the toughest conference slate is pretty impressive. Now we have to keep it going.
