Wow. I have tasted my own medicine and it is bitter!!
I've been to 3 colleges and the proffs at all 3 didn't have an agenda. Also had 2 conservative profs in 1 semester at Iowa.
And efff Dawn Staley.
But that really isn't the point though is it? Of all the calls that refs miss or get wrong, this is the one she calls out, and frankly given Clarks heroics had nothing to do with the outcome and final score.
Molly made 2 of 3 free throws. If it wasn’t called a shooting foul she still gets 2 free throws. So it was not as an impactful call as coach S seems to think. She still cannot handle little Iowa beating her “unbeatable” team. I love that she is still pissed about Iowa and Caitlin beating her. She couldn’t give Caitlin credit—-in her postgame last year she commented on Caitlin’s turnovers——Really coach?!?!?
Were the Hawkeyes in the bonus? I thought they would have been inbounding the ball, so in the end was in the same situation as it should have been.
Ok, if that is not a shooting foul, then Iowa is inbounding the ball with a fresh 20 second shot clock (I believe) with 29 seconds left. Iowa still has a huge advantage in that situation. Iowa probably still wins, they just don't hit a buzzer beater to do it.
Watch Haley Van Lith on the bench. It’s almost as if she doesn't care that Reese got stopped, or maybe she expected Reese to fail. I bet she never dreamt she’d be benched, at the end of a game, on the deciding possession.

Reese starring down and stepping at a girls after she blocked a shot is pure Reese class. Loved watching Reese try and be a ball handler at the end of the game just to have a girl take it from her.

They have shooters now, and the girl we let shoot last year is now shooting something like 35% this year from 3, up from 24% last year. This one is gonna be tough.

Amazingly she actually shot 50% in the game last season, (3 of 6) I believe, so its quite possible she doesn't do better this year. Its funny though, because they will have to be ON as well. Again, you can take a number of classes at our Alma mater to learn about it, it’s good stuff. In state tuition is cheap. It’s not rly that complicated either.
