Do anything cool today?

You make it to Edinburgh?

Got up exercised, watered the plants and did some other things before we got to see and watch two of our five grand kids yesterday! Our 10 month old is crawling around like he’s on crack. There’s a reason why you should be young when you raise kids. I’m still tired this morning!

I’ve spent the weekend in Philadelphia. Done a good bit of walking, good bit of drinking and enjoyed watching a couple of games at Citizens Bank Park. Stayed close to Independence Hall, walked to the Art Museum and walked up the steps from Rocky. Witnessed a Dodger fan get escorted out by the police after the no pic hot daughter tried to defend her dad from said Dodger fan. Good weekend. I think Minneapolis maybe next year’s park.

Oh! I convinced an old college buddy that, based on his ideal society and government (property rights, markets, and personal liberties), he's a right wing liberal and not a libertarian and that all libertarians are either right wing liberals who actually do very much believe in the very powerful state required to enforce property laws or they're pedophiles who are primarily concerned with the age of consent. Naw, jk, we don't argue politics since I deleted Facebook. It was the time of year where he slides into my DMs to see if I know where he can find pills and I remind him that no I don't and to spend an hour learning the dark web and leave me alone.
How does one learn the dark web? I’m ignorant and intrigued…

Is QC the only one who got laid here? What a pathetic bunch (including me since I was a no...) !!! Thelma Lou had a headache.
Great day, started with coffee and some over easy eggs after a work out. After that headed to a local nursery for some new plants and a shrub. Saw the hottest Asian chick sporting camo pants, black work boots with a three or four inch rise, tank top showing off her tan beautiful massive rack, while wearing a baseball cap with her hair pulled back. She was absolutely stunning. I wanted to get a photo of her but don’t think my no pic wife would have appreciated it or the guy she was with. He was dork material too. She had to be in her 30’s close to 40 range. Other than that, did yard work all afternoon, laid by the pool after completing work, went to dinner, watched a movie at home then took the no pic wife to pound town that started late Saturday and ended in Sunday. So technically, I got laid both days!! I’ll take it as a great weekend.

Golf fundraiser. Got to the course at 8am, got home at 8pm. Much $$ raised, much whiskey consumed.

Once it warms up a bit, I'm going to go outside. That's my big plan for today.

I brought mt XP gaming machine home and installed Command and Conquer for Windows 95 successfully. I also took a few pictures off of a 2003 digital camera on the XP machine because the camera has no support after Windows 7.

You make it to Edinburgh?
We spent 5 days in Edinburgh, 3 in Aberdeen, 3 in Inverness, with a 1 day trip to Isle of Skye and now 3 days in Glasgow.
Scotland has been wonderful. Especially the people.
We have been going to Europe about every other year for decades now. No bad trips at all, but I don’t think we have ever encountered so many truly friendly people.

Yesterday. Spent a. Hour flipping through used albums at VCup in Omaha. Then watched my son play in three HS basketball scrimmages.

I loved it. On my list to hit again. Could spend a week in that Museum.

If you're not planning on any shady shit, you could just start googling how it works and how to get on there. If you're trying to hustle and/or acquire stuff the gov might be interested in knowong about, the safest way is to pay a homeless person for their library card number and system password and Google materials on how to access the dark web to write down on paper. Then find some used laptop you can buy for cash, make some Linux distro that books only from USB, and only use it at internet cafes.

25 mile bike ride yesterday. Ragbrai training !! It's going to be a fun RAGBRAI !!

Today we went to the outdoor art park in Minneapolis. It’s nice. One piece is 5 giant sheets of steel supported by two poles. The Dayton family donated the money for it and all I could think of was how @jamesvanderwulf would figure he could do the same for $50 with some leftover rebar.
Beautiful day to be outside. We had lunch and then went to Prospect Park to see one of the famed water towers of Minneapolis. Tomorrow we are going to the Minnesota Zoo and the Mall of the Americas.

Found out a few weeks ago that Yuengling was expanding distribution into Missouri, so naturally I drove 2.5 hrs south today and hunted some down in what has to be the smallest/oldest HyVee still in existence in Tarkio.

I struck out at about 6 places before and had just about relegated myself to the fact this may have been a dumb idea for a beer run, but lol and behold, grandpa's Hy Vee came thru.

We did a Rabbies bus tour out of Inverness. 12 hours on a bus with no more than 15 passengers. We were quite pleased with it. Many stops for pictures, food and/or toilet needs.
The driver gave us a lot of information.
Skye was very beautiful, but sparse vegetation up high. We actually thought the scenery in the lowlands was even more beautiful.
Overall Scotland was fantastic.

Spent the day in Bruges. Lovely town. Bicycle race went right through the Markt. Dragged the family into the Church of the Holy Blood to see the relic—a crystal vial that contains the blood of Christ. It was collect by Joseph of Arimathea as he washed the body. Then had moules frites and more Belgian beer.
