It seems like forever ago that we destroyed USC in the Holiday Bowl. After that win, what were the “experts” forecasting for Iowa this season? Were we supposed to be good?
With all the rumors earlier this spring and summer of there being no football this year, and then official word that it was in fact cancelled for the B1G, I completely lost interest. Didn’t bother reading any team progress reports, player development updates, etc. Figured I’d check back in in the spring. But then the season was back on, and I admit I felt clueless about this team. Still do.
