I will admit this is a better Petras I like actually throwing deep.

So why did they switch him from offense to defense? I just don't get it. It isn't like we have any athleticism at the QB position currently.
Seems like our receivers can't go get the ball. Every guy has panicked with the ball in the air.
Don't look now but Iowa is putting together a pretty good offensive game.
Yes. You see the ability and why Petras lit it up in high school. It’s always been mental with Petras. Right now, he’s being decisive and is playing with confidence. My problem with Petras is his confidence flounders too easily, which results in poor throws and indecisiveness. And I don’t think that will change come conference play, but will hope for the best.
Even with the overthrows, this is at least an aggressive looking offense. Why we go from never doing that to already many times this game is mind numbing. Yes, I’m aware we have more weapons today and defenses can play to take it away, but tonight feels like we open up the O like we did against tOSU only to fall back into ultra conservatism other games.
Id much rather have this type of 5 for 11 performance from Petras than the typical 5 for 11 performance that we get. The running game benefits so much.

Against this defense you should really score a TD every time - they are terrible.
I’m happy and sad. Good for Spencer in this game, but his inaccuracy against this defense…..will kill us in conference play
Our line just doesn't seem to fire off the ball at the same time. Seems like we have a late snap or 1-2 lineman coming out late.
It does literally come down to situational play calling and execution in that regard. Nevada's defense is not going to impose their will unless we let them.....

Bruce is slow or hurt ... if that was ISM he's gone. That was wide open to take down the sidelines.
