Great 2nd half by those who are in but I don't get it at all on why he's not playing. Beat guys need to dig in here for answers.
It's unbelievable, Fran must have a vendetta, there's no explanation why your best point guard (statistically) hasn't played the first 13 minutes of the second half. Poor guy. I hope he transfers to a school that appreciates him.
Maybe Joe already told him he plans to transfer after the year????
You guys do realize that Fran is not on the bench for this game, right? Do you think he told Billy Taylor to keep Joe on the bench in this game or is calling Billy during the game?

I am sure that Fran helped set the starting lineup and game plan, but in game adjustments would be made by the coaches on the bench.

The complaint is about not playing your starting point guard the entire second half. Unexcusable win or lose. I thought Fran was a loyalty guy?

I know some of you guys are too busy bitching to notice but if a lineup is working, Fran or whoever sticks with that lineup. They locked Minnesota down in the 2nd half so the lineup didn’t change much.

The lack of Joey T makes no sense, although Iowa did win the game. I do not understand. I love Jordan, one of my very favorite Hawks, and coming off a pretty good defensive game, still think Joey and Tony should be starting.
Well it’s funny that your commenting about only allowing 21 points when the best defender on the team has been benched and it’s clear that if the team plays defense they can play so much better.
No one has any idea what's going on with Joe and his playing time. What happened? We obviously don't know. Only the coaches and players do, and they are not going to air what's going on.
So, it may be baffling to you and the other "experts" on here, but unless a reporter asks about it and Fran explains, there is no use wasting time being baffled and outraged.
But being uninformed and outraged is what posters do best on here.

Fran and the coaches made some adjustments today and the team responded with a win. These were not the changes that some wanted to see so they still rip Fran. I do not care who plays as long as the team wins.

I may not know much, but I sure as hell know what the numbers, and my eyes, tell me about JBo. It looks from waaaaaaay over here that Joe T is being measured by one standard and everyone else, especially JBo, by a totally different one. Joe's been starting all year, so what suddenly happened that he didn't start today?
And why is Kris Murray still on the bench when the game begins?
Fran owes the fans an explanation about what the hell is going on with Joe T. After all, the fans are the ones who've made Fran a millionaire despite his middling success in Iowa City. Just my uninformed opinion, of course. LOL
