Ok guys I loved Thomas as a Hawk, loved Ramos as a Hawk. I wish they were both still here and handled things a bit more professionally but they didn’t so of coarse there is going to be some animosity form some. I respect and wish them the best. Congratulations to both Gilman and Taylor for winning bronze and gold respectively but both caught a break so to speak. No Lee for Gilman and Taylor and Dake were at different weights. I don’t care for the way Gilman’s has handled everything but respect him enough to appreciate what he did for the Hawks over the years. When Spencer gets back to 100 percent for the next Olympics the Lord above could coach up Gilman and he still won’t beat Spencer.

Why would it be surprising that BWI members would trash a Hawkeye while at Iowa? Hawkeye forum members trash PSU guys. I would imagine if a former PSU guy came to Iowa to train, you would welcome him, even if you previously roasted him.

Many people along the way helped Gilman get to where he is at youth coaches, high school coaches, club coaches, mentors, teammates, Iowa coaches and Penn St coaches. But only ONE person is responsible for what Thomas Gilman has done and that's Thomas Gilman
