One has to wonder why there's not a single female in any major men's sports league? I mean it's not like men have some sort of physical advantage over women... We should have some women line backers by now, right? You mean not one of those ladies from a League of Their Own couldn't hang in the MLB? Really? Surely the average woman could at least compete on the PGA Tour without needing to play from a separate tee?
No, it won't ruin their life either. I'm guessing most transgender girls that participate in sports do so because they want to be with their friends and have fun playing a game. When I think back to my time playing sports in high school it's not the wins or losses I remember the most, it's the fun we had hanging out together.
I wish we could come up with a compromise that works for both trans and cis girls.

We're still in the stage of conservatives desperate to make this a huge issue because they have nothing else to run on. Same as always.
We're at the stage where people make choices and then don't like the consequences they have to face and it's always someone else's fault and those people are perpetual victims.
I think a lot more research is needed but for now I'm ok with leaving it up to the parents. I do note that other countries seem to be moving away from puberty blockers though.

A very disturbing thing about the right wing is they very often show that they don't care about who they hurt in the process of what they are doing.
Far too many election officials who did nothing wrong were harassed and received death threats over the election lies. Hunter Biden had private pornographic images shared of him in a house committee. Dude may be a cokehead who lied on a federal form to get a gun. But he still has rights.
If his defense is that he saw this as child abuse, he should have reported it to the authorities not the media.

If my wife sends me some racy photos and I post them all over the internet without her consent that's a crime. And that's still a crime even if she's broken the law herself.

And honestly what the house committee did was worse since it used the power of the government to obtain them. That would be like if the cops seized your computer looking for E-mails between you and a coke dealer but while there found some videos or images of you with your wife/girlfriend/smizmar and decided they just had to show everyone them in a televised press conference.
