Gotta feel bad for Iowa State today & for their future

Got to feel bad for Iowa and their future.

I imagine you somehow thought this was witty, but it was pretty dumb. You had all night to come up with something clever, and you failed.

Not sure on that. The Cyclone fans I work with seem to be pretty excited. Having a high tier PG set to arrive next year has some looking ahead as well.

Now if you feel bad for them for not being ranked or not having a chance to win their conference this year, that is fair enough.

Focusing on Iowa's future, it looks bright as well.

So, in conclusion:

Gotta feel bad for Iowa State today & for their future

With clown fans it is always about what is coming. Yet when it arrives it never is as good as they thought they it would be.

Not sure on that. Seeing them go to what will be 6 NCAA tourney games in a row is pretty impressive. One could argue they are still living in the past as its not uncommon to hear about Hoiball.....which was two seasons ago.

Again, the future is looking good at Iowa. Beating Iowa St two years in a row is reasonable for next year after losing a few in a row to the Cyclones would be a positive thing.

Exactly. Outside of maybe hoibergs last year his rosters were always changing fairly last minute. Hard too look forward when you don't even know for certain your roster and on top of that the last 6 years we've had rosters good enough to make runs in the tournament which is about all you can ask for in college basketball when you're not a blue blood. why would we be looking ahead?

The ISU IA game next year is going to be very interesting. I look forward to it.

Does this ring a bell. "isu should be a final four team or at least elite eight." Randy Peterson and clown fans left and right were touting this right up until UAB made them look foolish.

Of corse that was after "if only Niang hadn't been hurt as they would have gone to the final four and possibly won the national title" bs for the year before.

Still waiting for the clowns to actually be as good as Peterson or clown fans think they are. Luckily no one is holding their breath waiting for reality to catch up to their delusions of grandeur.

I think Clone fans are going to be Happy with their 6th NCAA bid in a row. Maybe another sweet 16 is in store, or even better this year. The team is playing well at the end of the year.

Still your seniors are not good enough to beat our freshmen.

There it is again, clown fan convinced the clowns are better than they actually are.

Raise your hand if you've seen this movie before.

And your Freshman weren't Good enough to beat Omaha. So what is your point? The Clones had a bad game against the Hawks. Those games happen sometimes, but the Clones are having a pretty good year with a potential deep run in the NCAA.

Our freshmen owned the so called mighty clowns. It wasn't even a game.

Maybe next year the clowns can make it closer.

How do you the hawks own the clones and get owned by teams like Omaha and Illinois? The team has a few Good high water wins but the lowest of low losses. It must be excruciating to watch the hawks from game to game.

So the clowns are so awesome that the lose by 14 to a team that was beat by UNO and Illinois?

An argument that only a delusional clown fan would have.

I don't think there is any question that the NCAA committee will view it as a "bad loss" when selection Sunday Rolls around, but the Clones will survive it and get a decent seed. I think delusional is a perfect description. Just remember that as you are brushing your teeth. You do have teeth, don't you?

Teams that really are awesome don't have 3 bad losses like the clowns. Of course that must be ignored to keep the clown fan delusion going.

Who said ISU is awesome? They are a team that is unranked and struggled early, and has been playing better in the last few weeks. I expect the team to challenge for the second weekend, and if they get there, it would be one of the best seasons in school history and a resounding success.

ISU only has two bad losses so far as well - Iowa and Texas, both on the road. ISU only has one other loss outside the RPI top 50, which is TCU, and they could still find they way into the tourney. I would say outside of the elite teams there are going to be very few NCAA teams with 2 or fewer bad losses.

I want to see how you figure this.

Nebraska-Omaha beats Iowa, 98-89.
Iowa beats Iowa State, 78-64.
Iowa State beats Nebraska-Omaha 91-47.

Explain that. This is precisely why picking one game out of a 30 game season to say "Iowa is better than Iowa State" does not work. Every single metric out there would say Iowa State is better, and every person with logic would agree.

Iowa State went 1-1 against Texas this year in men's basketball. Does that mean Texas is as good as Iowa State? No.
Iowa State went 1-1 against Kansas this year in men's basketball. Does that mean Iowa State is as good as Kansas? No.

You can't argue with stupid. And that's exactly what I just tried to do by talking to you.

And that, my friends, is a thread killer. Although I may check back because it could be entertaining to see a response to CycloneState28.

If isu was as awesome as clown fans think are they wouldn't have lost to Iowa, Vandy or Texas.

This is nothing more than yet another example of clown fan delusion not meeting reality. Then when really does smack them in it he face they either blame the officials or a myriad of other reasons as to why it really doesn't count. No, clown fans will fight to the death to cling to their myopia. It is all they have.

Why is this difficult for you to grasp Einstein?

I picture hands over ears and screaming "LaLaLaLaLaLa" over and over. Rinse and repeat every time the clones are mentioned. I looked up JBO and MM Freshman stats and completely understand your focus on points as emphasis for who had a better 1st year. LOL!!!

Arguing with somebody in a mental institution is strange. Don't do it. Everybody knows it but him and you aren't going to change his "mind". Let the thread die...ironic, I know. :)

its funny how insecure CLOWN fans keep posting in this thread

ever since Freddy left for the Bulls, their basketball program has been in a downward trajectory.

CLOWN football is a joke.

CLOWN wrestling is a joke.

CLOWN men's basketball is soon to be a joke as well.

what will they be left with? women's gymnastics?

So you are going to ignore the number of Assists Jordan has had in 27 games (126) vs. God himself Monte having 134 in 36 games?

Imagine that, clown fans ignoring what doesn't fit in their delusion.

lol is this thread seriously just a handful of clown fans having a good old fashioned circle jerk?

Actually, I looked at turnovers and JBO has over twice as many and still climbing. I also took a look at steals and rebounds as it relates to extra possessions and it became very clear why you wanted to focus on points. Keeping in mind that MM was not the primary ball handler as a Frosh because Kane was present, even adds to the intrigue.

Must ignore both players played basically the same minutes per game. The point all along has been clown fans love to say how bad Jordan is but when compared to god himself Monte, we see the delusion simply doesn't match reality.

As usual tell us how it really is or tell us why we must ignore points scored and assists.

That was sweet when JBo was trying to dribble around all fancy in the second to last possession, fell down, and got it stolen for a layup the other way. Definitely reminded me, and I'm sure everyone else, of Monte. You can have him.

Good home OT win versus a team that has lost 7 of 8 and is tanking and coach will be fired. You may have moved your CBI tournament seed a notch higher with that one!

Type "delusion" and clown fans come flocking. It is some kind of "bat signal" for those with incurable little bro syndrome?

Still wondering why God errrrr. Monte was so much better his freshman year when he didn't have more points or assists than Jordan despite playing more games.

Oh that is right, anything counter that clown delusion is immediately ignored.

Thanks for clearly that up.
