Apparently some people just never know when to quit. I have to admit if I were a Clone fan I wouldn't let this thread die, either. And I never post on other teams' boards.
 
Remember clown fans are sure Jordan sucks. Just ignore his assists, points scored and 3 point FG's. But by all means don't anyone dare compare what god himself Monte Morris did in his freshman year.

Jordan is a fallback recruit just ask clown fans. They will tell you.

Go sit in the corner little guy. The win today over Maryland is NIT worthy. Congrats to hawk fans. Maryland is in a nose dive and it will be recognized on selection Sunday.

Not nearly as well as they do on cry-clown fanatic but that would be hard to top. Maybe you can enlighten us as to all the wonderful behavior from clown fans over there. It would be fascinating I'm sure.
 
Iowa State is having a nice season with a senior dominated lineup. Iowa is having a nice season with mostly freshmen and sophs... the same freshmen and sophs that whipped those seniors 78-64.

If this was the stock market and I had both in my portfolio, I'd hold onto Iowa for at least 2 years and sell Iowa State as soon as they lose in the NCAA tourney this year.

Let's end this thread Iowa state is good not great but pretty good. Iowa is just ok this year but will be very good in the next few years atleast.

Cyclones ranked #24 and going to the NCAA tournament. Iowa is not ranked and likely going to the NIT. End of discussion.

whats funny is this thread is supposed to be about the doom and gloom of Iowa State's season and future. All you bring up is losing to Iowa at your place. You're essentially saying Iowa is so bad that any team that loses to you must be be awful and hopeless. I do agree with you that was an embarrassing day for Iowa a State. JUSt a day though not the season.

Agreed on the 78-64 whoopin.....but I'll go on record & say this. Come next season, Hawks should have a very solid team. While ISU may be in a little re-build stage searching for the right combo after losing 4 key senior starters. So Hawks should be hands down favorites right?

When that game comes to Hilton - I'm willing to bet anyone here $500 that ISU wins, straight up, no point spread needed. We can Paypal it, Venmo, whatever.... we'll figure it out.
Point is. Rivalry game, throw everything out the window. Played in one of the toughest environments in CBB. I'm sure we'll play out of our asses to win. - But that will be exactly a role reversal of what took place this season. Hawks will most likely go on for a good season & NCAA lock, while ISU is on outside looking in - but hanging on to the victory in Ames like its the end all-nothing-else-matters-but-that-one-win. Book it.

Ranked #24 & going to 6th straight NCAA means we suck in men's basketball???..... ummm, so comparatively speaking of last 6 years of Hawk b-ball in regards to ISU's - that means you really suck then.... hell, not sure you should continue to fund the program, drop it all together or maybe move down into Loras & Buena Vistas league... I mean my god, if what ISU is doing is considered sucking, where the hell does that rate Iowa's program? ....... lololololololol ... dumbass

Lol. No s****! Going into next year expectations may be less than stellar for ISU but be damned sure the sights are still on the NCAA and we'll be pissed to have to go to NIT - regardless of any pre-season forecasts or talent at hand

You, however, are posting on a Hawkeye site, trying to defend your loser athletic department and loser conference.

Now don't forget they preceeded that huge win over ISU with a routine home win over that powerhouse team to the west, Univ of Omaha.... oh wait..... lololololololol

The point was to point out how pathetic the CLOWN athletic dept is and that ever since Freddy left, IS-who has been on nothing but a downward trajectory. IS-who is a nobody in a terrible, weak conference dominated by Kansas.

You are one extremely insecure CLOWN fan by being here, monitoring a Hawkeye site.

And you wonder why we call you guys CLOWNS? You are definitely a CLOWN and you represent the CLOWN fan base as expected. Good job.

If the Big XII is so weak in basketball where does that put the Big 10 considering the Big XII has had three teams in the top 10 in the country, top 7 many week of the season while the Big Ten's best ranking was below all of them.
 
I love ISU, all sports in general & the discussion, debate & banter from fans and rivals that come with it.... I apologize to the true, knowledgeable Hawk fans if my posts seem flaming towards you & the Hawk program in general.. they are not - my responses are only reactions to your 2 idiots - Franisdaman & Herkyfan.
No matter what sense you try to speak to them, they can't seem to grasp the idea of a healthy adult conversation backed by facts & intelligent insight. It's like trying to talk with a 6 yr old that says "i know you are but what am I"...repeatedly over and over again.
I know these 2 bungholes don't speak for the 99% rest of you who are good, passionate fans - you're alright in my book.

Knowing isu's awesome seniors couldn't beat our freshmen is all about what Iowa and isu's future holds. It really isn't as complicated as isu fans are making this out to be.

Just think a little bit for yourselves.
